7€ for a Portuguese-looking sambusa and an orange juice, it's really expensive
HELLO PORTUGAL! Wow. It's my first time back in this lovely country since 2012 (when I was a budget backpacker!) So much has changed about Lisbon, and about my views on the world after visiting every country! In this video, I take you on a lovely food & culture tour of Lisbon (and neighboring Cascais) with my local friend, Miriam. We binge eat the most delicious things that we can find, and truthfully speaking, I think that Lisbon is one of the top 5 best cities in Europe! I hope you enjoy this video!

@alexandre_ptNice!❤❤
@thinkingbigwithsayonaandaastikI loved Alfama. It felt like how Lisbon must have been years and years ago. The Portuguese are wonderful, and the food was amazing as a fish fan.

@FAMMEME1I love Lisboa so much. I've been there 6 times and have made friends for life there. In my opinion, the european capital with the most charm and character

@davidm.kenneyjr.74265:31 and in fact that's ours
@Karius__What a dissappointing tour, underwhelming food choices and locations. Go to Porto.
@NingenjaNaiSaikouIm a north american going to Portugal in a few months... so excited. Never been to Europe but after doing lots of research Portugal seems like an incredible place in terms of food, affordability, beauty and hospitality. Definitely doing Lisbon and Porto. Possibly Lagos as well. But so many city seem amazing.
@justinferdinand1884Portugal has the best food in the wooorld! So glad to live here. But yeah that pastel de bacalhau and orange juice was expensive. There is so many diversity in Portuguese cuisine, you could spend a month or more eating different things 😂

@puip0Hi from Portugal ^^ im glad you enjoyed your stay here
@midzyjojofan7 euros de bacalhau e do sumo de laranja. 7 euros of the bacalhau and of the orange juice.
@84SEHAJ1,50€ pastel de bacalhau. Must be the best orange juice ever...
@nocontenteeIts not pan con chorizo its pão com chouriço
@FPgamerzzzI love chourico, for those who don't know. It's a lot like linguisa and Mexican chorizo. Except it's cured and smoked so its precooked. It tends to be much spicier too and is made with red wine. It tastes very gamey compared to meat most Americans are use to. It's chewy and has some bounce. The Spanish and others tend to grind the meat more finely to combat this but it's something you really learn to appreciate. It's outstanding on a pizza or fried with eggs.
@superkoopatrooper4879Hey hey hey espera ai!! Pão com Chouriço it's portuguese but from Madeira Island!! If it happens that you tell a madeiran that that bread is from Lisbon i can guarantee you you are in trouble 😅
@constantinoVino14 Euros for 2 Acai?? How is that cheap . I can get the same thing in Australia for the same price . Who said Portugal is cheap . Everything I've seen in this video is rip off..
@kellyjordan6440Have you visited the Acorean islands
@marzlife4uDoes anyone knows where's this Fado bar pls?
@jakub7931Just two days left and I'm there 😍
@jakub7931There was no English word for "orange" until the late sixteenth century at least. Oranges the fruits were called portingales (is in from Portugal)
@alisondite22041:35- Interesting that in Iran the fruit called orange is called 'portugal'! BTW, the English term for 'orange' was derived from the Spanish word 'naranja' (nah-RAHN-hah) which comes from the older Arabic word 'naranj' which derived from the Persian word 'naranga-s' which meant 'orange tree'! Of course, Portuguese has to be different from Castillian Spanish orange so in Portugal it's called 'laranja' [lah-RAHN-ha] . Regardless, there's no language barrier for folks enjoying oranges and fresh-squeezed orange juice on the Iberian Peninsula, the Arabian Peninsula or Iran!
@wardarcade7452Title is about Lisbon, but you took off quickly…Why the title?
