How Brooklyn’s Barclays Center Serves 18,000 People During an NBA Game — Clocking In

Video Overview & Insights

At a sold-out crowd of a Brooklyn Nets home game, the staff at the Barclays Center has the daunting task of serving 18,000 people. Through concessions and the several clubs throughout the arena, the staff serves tomahawk steaks, spicy rigatoni pasta, chicken tenders and sandwiches, birria tacos, and more.

He takes a bag of chicken tenders home with him everyday😂😂

In this video he is talking about feeding fans at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, but this is Mass Volume, High Quality food on a Grand Level, and I don't doubt that, but I can't imagine how much money they Charge, like going to New Jersey,at East Rutherford Stadium,or Yankees Stadium in the Bronx,or MetLife Stadium in Queens, the Venue is one thing, Food and Beverages is another Animal, that's why I don't go to Movie Theaters anymore,I wait for the highlights from Utube, for Free, because Google owns Utube, but it's only during the season, after that, it's like a Run Down Ranch, Like your Neighborhood Ghost Town,No Critter's, What's Going On,Here,Now.

I work kitchen, once I worked as temp in a "stadium food joint" like one of the shops we see here, during a busy night when 2 popular teams were playing, we didn't have time to breathe, you don't have the luxury to make a dish one at a time, you need to prepare everything so you can BAM-BAM-BAM throw it together and get it over the counter in seconds, I was mainly on the "sandwich team", fan clubs would order meals for group pickup so they didn't have to stand in line, and we still needed extra for over the counter sales, we made at least 100 of each kind of sandwich each game night, so it was prepare the meat and vegetables, put them together and wrap them, and even during service, we had to make extra because some sold more than others, I had one of the less hectic posts, and I RESPECT the ones who had to juggle multiple balls at the same time on the busy posts.
So when you're ordering food during a game night, please understand that YOU are just ONE of the HUNDREDS of orders the employees have to handle each hour, there's bound to be made mistakes and take a little more time, and you not yelling and throwing a tantrum helps everyone involved.

I don't want to sound rude, but it is amazing how he has that kind of energy to do all of that work with that kind of body. I have a friend with that kind of body, and his stamina is non-existent He needs 30 minutes rest for 5 minutes of high intensity exercise.

Hi guys. Will be going to the Barclays center soon. Can we walk around the stadium to go all the food outlets? Or are we restricted to certain areas depending on where we're sitting? Thanks :-)

This guy is awesome. I pray someone helps him drop a few of those pounds as respectfully as possible because he deserves to live life as supported as he is to his staff.
