Ingredients:
Ummm,"Breaded"β
Did I miss a stepβπ€
For the marinade:
4 Chicken drumsticks, bone-in
What if I don't have fridge how can I proceed
4 Chicken thighs
2 cups (480ml) Buttermilk
What can I use instead of garlic powder?
2 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper
that's yummy crunchy chicken, thanks for my plate
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
I love KFC!
For the breading:
3 cups (375g) All-purpose flour
I love your choice of music with this delicious chicken ππΈπ΅π
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper
So simple yet so nice.
2 teaspoons Onion powder
2 teaspoons Garlic powder
that's delicious πππ
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
How about if you donβt have butter milk?
1 teaspoons Dried oregano
Vegetable oil for frying
Wow so easy ....very yummy,ππ
Directions:
1. In a large bowl mix all marinade ingredients, add the chicken, make sure each piece of chicken is coated with the marinate. Cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Do we necessarily have to wait 4 hours or overnight for the buttermilk?
2. Prepare the breading: in a large shallow dish or in a Ziploc bag combine all breading ingredients. Add the marinated chicken to the flour mixture and roll until fully coated. Shake off the excess.
3. Heat oil to 350Β°F-375Β°F (175Β°C-190Β°C).
What kind of oil do you use? I got legs and thighs defrosting right now!
4. Place the breaded chicken into the hot oil, 3-4 pieces at the time. Fry for about 10-12 minutes, until the coating is dark golden brown and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F (75Β°C).
5. Transfer to a paper towels to drain. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
It looks Hard And brunt

@gtwnujttkcoslpgnkrnp3504Just made this today. Was my first attempt at doing fried chicken. I wanna say, it turned out GREAT! The smell alone was enough to make your mouth water. The taste was also very good. I didn't have the garlic powder for the marinade but I did have the other stuff. It still tasted great! I did manage to get some garlic powder for the breading though. It still was very good. Next time I will have the garlic powder for the marinade. This is an AWESOME recipe! Pretty simple too. It did get a little messy with the flour but hey! That's all part of the cooking. Thanks for this recipe! I wanna try your Mac-n-Cheese recipe next. I'm a HUGE Mac-n-Cheese fan!

@avontealexander9702super super like chef !!!!!!!!
@n.arredondo6000As a country gentleman and fried chicken fanatic, I approve. I don't use Oregano but add chicken bullion in my recipe. Your choice of music is amusing. I'm trying your quick curry chicken this week, I need to whip up some fresh garam masala.
@johnjenkins8782Will be making this weekend. Will report back! Wish me luck!
@DivoGoNice Video
@healthcarecures7049Super delicious
@RetiredSchoolCookSeems like at least of the flour mixture is wasted. 1.5 cups of flour should be enough.
@applepieliciousExcellent, we also do something similar at home.
@italiancakesusaI would guess that the inside of the chicken ( near the bones) is raw.
Nice presentation thou
