When u say the plebeians and patricians were equal, u forget to mention its specifically politicay equal, social status was still very much dependant on your heritage and family.

There are some inaccuracies in this. They did not salt Carthage, that is a myth. Sardinia and Corsica were also not annexed after the first Punic war. They were annexed after the mercenary wars when several of Carthage’s provinces revolted.
