Video Overview & Insights

I'll be in the heart of the norwegian wilderness, locals call it 'home of the giants'.

Encontrar latas numa paisagem como esta, é saber que nós humanos ainda precisamos aprender muito, como preservar a natureza que temos. Triste por saber disso. Mas o homem é muit mal educado.

From Norway: I am seriously questioning your choice of footwear. You are almost irresponsible. What you had on your feet was for a walk in the park 🙂. Most Norwegians use heavy, sturdy hiking boots, mostly leather. Also: In Norwegian mountains, no need for water filter.

Beautiful Norway Norway such a clean healthy country. Don’t all Norwegians have cabins

Your vids are AMAZING Liam, very motivating, just back from TMB and planning my next hike, it's a toss up between this and Dolomites! Really enjoyed both your vids on these routes.

Hi Liam I just wanted to say I absolutely live for your videos. So glad I discovered your channel. Come do it in NZ mate ;)

It's such an ancient dramatic looking place. Formed 400 million years ago, with some of the bedrock being up to 2.5 billion years old! No wonder myths and legends were formed there.

Three things that are true, but you won't believe:

1- the 200 fallen watchers were confined in giant trees that were miles wide. When they were felled it brought about the great flood.

2- those mountains and most (if not all) others are the petrified remnants of those trees that floated in giant mats upon the waters and came to rest in groups.

3- the nephilim strip mined many of them with enormous machines that dwarf anything imagined today, leaving them with the carved appearance many have. The matterhorn is a good example of this.

if you ever do that again remember to weatch out for those canyons that are hidden by moss

Deer are literally everywhere in England, in every corridor seperating villages towns n citys. I see 4 per day on average in a suburban area. They are everywhere. I see more deer than foxes by far!

Hi bro. Greetings from "Speed Birds Adventures". Its really an amazing clip. Very beautiful & pleasant environment

Super video! Just a heads up: in most of the Norwegian national parks drines are prohibited and the national park service actually spends time looking at videos on this platform and have been known to file it with the police.

You should buy a Biolite for your travels. Allows you to cook using kindling and charge your battery items. Might be slow but in an emergency why not.

Amazing video. Just wondering what time of the year you did this hike?

Hey Liam - excellent adventure and thank you for your hard work making this lovey experience for us to enjoy. We're glad you didn't roll an ankle or worse on the way! Just wondering if you carry an emergency GPS locator. Pretty remote place if anything goes wrong.

We did some hiking in Loforten back in 2019 and it is an amazingly beautiful country (if not a bit pricey!!). You brought back some great memories for us.

Cheers and thank you from Sydney - Dave

You really do not need to filter water in Norway

You can actually get a key for those huts if they belong to the DNT (Norwegian Outdoors Association)! Just join and pay a deposit!

Just found your channel, love it man! like your vlogs!

@Nix-on-his-way

You can get a key to those huts with a yearly subscription. What I would say though is Jotunheimen is a national park and drone flying is banned.

@ThePearfish
@

why aren't you using hiking boots?

@lucasawidid5771

@paulacnote

That was a challenge, well done. My son goes wild camping. He done Norway. Hes going again. You should have walking boots, my son spends alot of money on good walking boots. Protect your ankles if you slip, you could break an ankle. Boots protect your ankles, my son says. Turkey, some beautiful back packing country. My son found a camping site in the hills, £5 per night, bar, showers, pool.

I enjoy your videos and this is as good as the rest but the mispronounced Norwegian “J” was a bit painful here and there. Not a real problem, though.
