We no longer have a free and fair market, when it comes to consumer necessity's there should be a cap on proffit's, and if the corporate elite don't like it , then tell them to get into a business, that is not vital to the consumer.

@gailnath3094I saw a gas pipeline rupture and explode at night, it looked like an atomic bomb had went off. The whole northern sky glowed this horrible, orange color, and it created a huge crater. ALL because of one little flaw in a pipeline that was made of cheap metal. We don't need any such horrors from Canada's tar pits down here.

"We want to be energy independent." But basically he's saying that to be that we need to maintain gas prices at this level. Everyone still on for energy independence?
@rabbit251I worked on drilling rigs all through the 1970's in Oklahoma. I wasn't in the production end, but we capped a lot of oil, and gas wells because they wouldn't make enough profit for the oil company that was drilling the hole. I still live around the area where I worked, and most of those wells are still capped. Some people blame Biden for high oil and gas prices, but I know the truth. The problem is, and always has been corporate greed and price gouging. Let's make sure the shareholders get their million dollar bonuses every year.
