We (and by that, I mean the Carter Administration) toppled their regime, installed the Islamic Republic, and left multiple generations of their people in slavery and repression, because we didn't like the fact that the Shah renegotiated the sale of his oil and natural gas resources to be on more favorable terms for his people, nor did we like the buildup of his armed forces challenging us within the region, etc. Additionally, we've turned a blind eye to everything that they've done over a period of decades, because it benefits us economically to do so. I have to tell you that the Iran "war" is NECESSARY due to the last June bombing of Iran's nuclear site was only on specific targets. Not the entire facility. The machines and centrifuges could still be transported elsewhere to be used. Also, there are reports of Iranian negotiators saying they still have some uranium. They move it/ hide from one location to another. So, even with US intelligence, they cannot be found. So, it was important for Trump administration to get Iran's agreement to NOT HAVE THE NUCLEAR WEAPON. That is Trump's meaning of Unconditional Surrender. And he achieved it. If it wasn't for this small war, going into the future, when they develop the nuclear weapons in secrecy, people like YOU, will be blamed by future generations to come. Iran is not the type to agree to give up their nuclear ambition by peaceful negotiations. If it was possible, they would have achieved it. Steve Witkoff and Jared tried so hard and so long. Earlier Presidents may even have done it. But no, Iran is not the type to yield in peaceful talks. So, even though last year's bombings destroyed the uraniums, that was never adequate to guarantee Iran will not continue to develop enriched uraniums. Do you really believed that action alone was adequate? If you think about it, they already knew this action in this year, was necessary. Ultimately, Trump got their agreement NOT to develop, procure or acquire nuclear weapons. Full stop. Trump is so laser focus on this. Not really on regime change although he would like it. But he also realised, regime change is not possible without popular uprising from ordinary Iranians. But all street protestors are executed. How to have popular uprising? You tell me. So, Trump is also realistic. Also, it is not the ballistic missiles that people say, Trump has changed stance. No, he has not. Those missiles were not Trump's target ultimately. He destroyed the plant producing the missiles only because the nuclear machines and centrifuges that were not destroyed could be transferred to this missile plant to be re-used. Although they still have missiles stockpile, most of their ships and planes and radar are gone. Lately they were only using drones. So, it is true as Trump said Iran's military has been destroyed. Also, I want to point out to you that it is NOT TRUE that Iranians getting richer by this deal. Most of this money from Qatar and sanctioned money will go to rebuilding their facilities destroyed from the US-Israel strikes. According to JD Vance, they probably need billions for reconstruction.
