Thank you for the video ! I have been trying cold email for the last 6 months and not having any success. If there was one thing I can do that could help, would it be ? I am selling equipment to gyms by the way. I would be very grateful
00:00 - Intro
01:11 - Cold Email Subject Line
43% sucks lol
03:07 - The First Sentence in Your Cold Email
04:30 - The Value Proposition in Your Cold Email
Thank you for the video. I hope that you are well. I started a job about three months ago where I sell equipment to gyms. I have had two responses out of a thousand. Is there anything I can change ? I am desperate to get some leads.
07:59 - Writing the Perfect Cold Email
08:10 - Outro
that 43% is insane, most people are getting like 5% if they're lucky. the personalization bit actually makes sense though

The advice about handling the prospect's immediate objection within the first email is pure gold. In paid ads outreach, every CEO is already thinking, 'We tried an agency before and they burned our budget.' Addressing that friction instantly in line 3 changes the whole conversion dynamic

This is the difference between getting ignored and getting a real reply. I have seen a simple Resplst Marketing email automation setup make it easier to stay personal at scale, so this was a solid one. Good luck with the sends.

The advice on pre-empting objections is gold. In Facebook Ads outreach, every lead is already thinking 'I've tried ads and they didn't work.' If you address that exact skepticism in the first 3 lines, your reply rate doubles.
@RoameliteofficialThank you for the video. I have been trying to sell products via cold email b2b but getting no response. Is there anything in particular that could help? I would be very grateful. Cheers
@GeorgeEco-e1hI have started trying some of these things and found it to work pretty well from a small sample. Any tips about how to personalize without being creepy? Like, is it bad to mention family stuff you find on social media? What if they don't really post much on Linkedin and there isn't a lot on the company website? Is Facebook generally safe or too personal? I got a good response based on tailoring the message to the person's bio on their company site, which seemed really safe. But I'm nervous about offending people or scaring them as some of the comments indicate. Any tips for boundaries?
@wilsontabb8222What a fantastic way to approach CEOs and people with enough power to fear for their integrity, how fantastic!! Almost too fantastic...
@dcmi5that first mail would go straight into spam, looks like some scam shit, same with the second one. How would you know these personal infos about them,
@thisisloopIn reality cold outbound is kinda dead now due to aggressive mail client filtering etc
@antoniocasamassa64212:20 that what she says
@Puissance10FRGuys whatever she said LISTEN TO HER and don't take it lightly, the first email I tried it with was replied to, just noww!! it just takes a lil bit of time to find some details about the prospect, I will try to train a GPT for that
@eleratalksHi
@HELLOTALK-b4mIs this Skyler from Breaking bad...I'm definitely listening
@brianmbugua8933This is the first cold email video that actually talks about the real problem, getting the open. The subject line and first line are what I kept messing up, and Reepgetix made it easier to see what was actually landing instead of guessing.
Been there with the spammy feeling too. What helped me most was sending fewer emails, making each one feel specific to the person, and not trying to pitch too hard in the first line. Once I stopped leading with a meeting ask and just gave one clear reason for reaching out, replies went up a lot. Solid breakdown, this was genuinely useful.
I was learning how to write better email so that it is not spammy etc and this video just coming at the right time, thank you!
@askbudii always make sure i offer my Clients something in the opening instead of just asking them a question, think of it as a bribe, and to be honest , 90% of the times when i get a respond, i Close a call , and i also get around 40 to 30% respond rate , and thats because i reach out via instagram and not E-mails
@Theonlyandyywhat about when your email is returned because you are on a blacklist , i work in China and a lot of e-mails are returnedš
@NinaMb-j7zContact me for 68%, with proof
@gurmindersingh111I took your advice seriously and tried it out. My best approach for show me you know me is to write directly to the person as i would with a genuine short email with context to what their buying intent could be and i hit a 42.5 open rate with just a test pool of 20 emails. I am genuinely shocked!
Now I need to work on the reply rate because although they opened the email they didnāt reply and i needed to place manual calls after the opens to take the conversations further
Amazing voice.
@hirecmoGreat points. Thereās a thin line between personal and uncomfortable.
@boosterbergappIf i saw one of those subject lines id automatically delete it as spam. makes no sense.
@xeleratedThank you for the video. I am really struggling to get a response with my emails. Any tips I would be super grateful. Thank You
@GeorgeEco-e1hAmazing content as always!
@LindsayPulancoFantastic video, really appreciate your effort!
@AntĆ“nioAlmeida-m5oFrom the CEO who gets these emails dailyāand Iāve NEVER bought anything from an unsolicited email ever. Ever. The reality is that successful CEOs seek the best possible providers of solutions. By the time your unsolicited email hits their inbox (really, the junk folder we check occasionally just in case something legit gets caught by the filter), if theyād experienced a problem theyād already delegated the job of finding and vetting the best possible solution provider. Our thinking is that the absolute best at anything wouldnāt stoop to cold emailing. Now, that leaves room for struggling CEOs. But then why would you want an unsuccessful client? They canāt pay well, nor become a long-term customer (if that business implodes).
@joewilmotAs someone many B2B buyers want to sell to, I find the personalization approach to be incredibly creepy and fake. I could not disagree with the advice Sam gives here any more. You want me to read and respond to your email? Absolutely do not reference where I went to college or my pet.
@ShiveLiveMy first campaign had a 30% open rate but less than 0,9% response rate. Found this video looking for an answer to my problems and maybe this is it, tomorrow I“m starting a second campaign with this implementations in the emails“ content, so I“ll drop an update once I have done some reps to compare my new metrics. Hope it helps, I found a lot of value in the video so I“m feeling lucky haha, send luck!
@alexxpalazuelosWhy would YouTube algorithm suggest a nine minute presentation on spam? The reason.ā youāre industry.ā emails have less than 1% open rate is because what youāre doing is spamming people.. Mine on the other hand have a 100% open rate because Iām using email as it was intended to be used . . . a means of communication.
@cavey1965The phrasing so much smells like sales. At least I don't fall for that. I'd be surprised if the open rates are real.
@tcurdtOut of all the "experts" selling the same crappy 'how to'' THIS IS AMAZING AND ON POINT. Every so called "this is too personal" and hides in fear should go learn the basics: EMOTION SELLS. PERSONAL CONNECTION SELLS. NO ONE GIVES A RATS A$$ ABOUT YOU OR WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.
@alexab.7687This had 43% open rate? I don t know Rickā¦.
@Lucho956That video is from 1996, right?
@ppeev1Step 1. Be a beautiful blonde woman.
Step 2. Refer to step 1.
Iāve gotten soooo many emails with the plus signs thatās kind of a turn off for me
@uikmnhj4meare you guys still in business?
@neponelso informative! thanks a lot!
@Yuridantas1those are great copy advice!
The most important part in cold emailng though is the proper infrastucture. I do cold emails for over 3 years now, and the only provider i would suggest is Maildoso. Decent smtp and google workspace mailbox provider.
highly doubt if this worked on india , I try this approach here
