Hearthen North · Volume III of the Vetrnár Saga. Eight tracks built on the myth of Hermóðr's ride to Hel and the universal mourning for Baldr — from the opening of the road, through the crossing of Gjǫll, the arrival in Hel's hall, Freyja's field of the fallen, the lament in which all things weep, and into the primordial void before creation itself.
Anchored on the opening verse of the Vǫluspá: Ár var alda, þat er ekki var — "In the beginning of ages, when nothing was." The mantra throughout: Hvíl þú — "Rest now."
