Healthy Costco Grocery Haul for Weight Loss (Foods That Helped Me Lose 125lbs)

Video Overview & Insights

Let's go on a field trip to Costco! I got not one, but two new fridges and we're filling them up with healthy, convenient food for my family of five after losing 125 pounds on a GLP-1 medication.

I loved seeing your Costco jaunt, which is particularly relevant to me since they just opened the new Costco in New Braunfels close to me… I wonder if you could do a similar expedition to whatever HEB is near you in San Antonio…

Also, I wish you could give some suggestions on how big a freezer I’m going to need for all this frozen food!

— @McJulieO

Trying to lose weight (or maintain it) doesn’t mean your grocery cart has to look perfect. Come shop with me at Costco as I show you what I actually buy in real life after losing 125 pounds and keeping it off.

These are the foods I rely on to keep things simple, high-protein, and sustainable without overthinking it or spending hours meal prepping. Because the truth is…this only works if it fits into your real life.

iam in San Antonio too. Out by 1604/Protranco. I love how you bring your content across. thank you for your channel.

— @sylviastewart7717

In this video, I’ll show you:

• My go-to protein staples I always keep stocked

Wow, congratulations on the loss!

— @henryw5762

• Easy ā€œthrow togetherā€ meals that don’t require a plan

• What I skip (even if it looks ā€œhealthyā€)

Looked like you were enjoying yourself
Your daughters did a great job filming!

— @dblank2090

• The small habits that actually make this sustainable

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed trying to eat ā€œperfectlyā€ā€¦this is for you.

Gurl I want arm muscles like yours! How heavy of weights do you use?

Another great video thank you very much. Next time you’re in Costco buy the chicken breast that are air dried not organic. I never knew this, but after the chickens are processed, they are dipped in water and chlorine. The air dry chickens have so much more flavor and are chemical free.

I found your channel and I’m hooked! You talk about the things that needs to be talked about when on this weight loss journey. I’m so grateful for you and your support. I’m down 110 pounds and have about 60 pounds to go but I’m gonna get there because I have you on my team.
The first time I heard you talk about the constant food noises and that the medication is helping my brain… it was mind blowing for me ā€œ it’s like she hears me!ā€
And can we talk about how you gave me permission to accept and not be ashamed of needing Ozempic for the rest of my life. I’m done hearing people say ā€œ oh you can do it on your own if you want it badly enough ā€œ
NO I CANT DO IT ON MY OWN and I’m ok with that. Listen I’ve been on every diet and consider myself pretty self disciplined and yet just like Oprah I couldn’t keep the weight off. Every time Oprah went on a diet so did Danica. lol
Please don’t ever go away. Help us who are almost at our goal weight or are in the maintenance phase because we need you and your support.
Thank you for your shares and your time. I’m sure it’s a lot of work to create content for me to watch and appreciate and I’m so grateful that you are here for me!

I wondered who was doing the filmingšŸ˜‚THEY did a brilliant job!!!Plz tell them😊Despite what some have said, I really enjoyed this vid & my fam is grown but! We have seven grandkiddos and I appreciate all the options I knew nothing aboutšŸ˜‰And since I do like chicken I see I can work in balance for me and my husband on my GLP1 journey, he’ll really appreciate the variety while I can appreciate the convenience because like you, I can tend to be a pretty boring eater, especially nowadays, thank you bunches😊 PS. this is after 42 years of all the homemade scratch cooking I’ve done and still do…somešŸ˜‚

Such a helpful video! A haul video would have been cool too, but I appreciate your courage to film in costco :D

@cherijackson6727
@

Would you care to share how much that cost you? I'm guessing over $400!

@QueenLoriDiss

This seems more like a things I don’t eat from Costco but buy anyway. Not really helpful. Sorry.

@

You're lovely, and I say this with the best intentions, but I really wish you would have just done a vlog on what you actually get for yourself. Most of us are on a glp1 journey and are looking to learn what has worked for you. Most of us don't care what foods...your kids like?

Damn - See your Deltoid muscles - Even after the GLP1 - Great body composition change -

I just found your channel and started my glp1 journey 8 weeks ago. Started very small dose per my dr recommended so slow losing (1 lb a week loss ave) but trying get more ideas on food! Thank you so much! Binge watching your videos now to catch up! ā¤ļø

I am boring..... I live a mile from Costco. I stopped going to most other stores during the pandemic. Tips on Costco are great. You missed the lightly breaded frozen chicken you recommended before. I can't imagine you being shy, even with a camera. You are too out going to worry about the friends you haven't met yet. Your clothes are cute and you look great in them..... those arms!

@Carol-cb9yu
@

I only clicked on this video because I thought you were going to show us what YOU buy for YOU to eat on a GLP-1 diet, not what you buy for your husband and children. We need to know what are the best foods for GLP-1 people. Please restrict your shopping to what items will help us, and what you bought for YOURSELF. Thanks.

Hi I hope not being rude but unnoticed a little loose skin on the crook of your arms - is that from weight loss I’m t2 and a big girl (13 stone and just over 5 fold tall) and I’m starting monjarno and metformin in 2-3 weeks I’m so excited have audible to even she’s a pound in nearly 10 years and my sugars are high. . It’s 73% in the ā€œvery highā€ glucose checker the diabetes nurse said and only 3% in normal range - I have a Dexcom so it shows my blood 24/7 and they stay on 10 days sending the info every minute to your
Phone and she used it weigh my permission to be connected to her at the hospital! I’m so excited but I’ve had pancreatitis before 8 years ago and she said it’s very uncommon, my last bout put me in intensive care with only 60% to love the rest to die but they said I’d never survive another bout so she said just so this is life threatening she stressed to me , not starting till next 2-3 weeks! Wish me luck-
Will
I know within first month if my body isn’t accepting it without no pancreatitis!?? Sorry just read how hard you worked on them so I’ll do the same , your great xx šŸ˜…

Wtf am I watching ā€œI don’t eat this but I’m going to get it for my kids/husbandā€. I don’t care. You don’t have to show us everything you got in your cart what you do need to show us is what you eat otherwise change your title to ā€œCostco haul for my familyā€ cause right now this title is misleading. I’m not gonna finish this video. Next time try titling your video properly.

@telilah85
@

Just a lot of dirty ingredients. Ingredients are super important, if I'm going to feed my family and myself I'm going to select the cleanest ingredients possible. Some things were good, but there are much better alternatives to a lot of the things she put in her cart. But when you don't care about food anymore I guess you don't care about ingredients either.

@LoZ-y8u
@

I want to hear about your GLP-1 experience! How can I do that?

@lizmccue5820
@

Girl, what do you eat? Air?
Because if you do not eat anything you have no business making a food video, even if it is to support a GLP1 regimen.
Leave it to people that actually eat for sustenance.
Perhaps is best you do a workout video.

Just started your Videos, lots of Fun, Good Information. Subed! Costco is always good for Revisiting. Trader Joes Next? Even if it's more of a Show n' Tell than a In Store Haul.

*Don't let the "Rich Lady" comments change a thing. I'm lower budget, Nobody is a Victim to that. But hey Walmart haul if you care to humor lower budget.

@irongoatgaming9966

I just recently started watching your videos and I am finding lots of helpful information, however it seems you have lots of money which makes the journey a lot easier. I can tell just from the exercise equipment you use, the fact that you had a tummy tuck, the prices of items you recommend on amazon and how much you are spending on groceries. I wonder what my journey will be like. This is just week 2 for me. I have gotten a body mass scale and some zero carb protein powder, vitamins, b12 and magnesium. What would you say are the must haves for someone on a lower income? I can’t spend thousands on exercise equipment but right now being 245lbs I’m also limited mobility.

@Jellybean1762
@

Love Costco! I do buy quite a few of the items that you showed. I love the salmon and recently found the blackened salmon which I might like even better than the Moreys. Getting the semi prepared or prepared meals are life savers for me. I love having them in the house and will often get a rotisserie chicken and add that the some soups or sauces that I find there.

You did a great job. Let's go to pickleball!!!

What a fun video! I rarely like grocery haul videos because I’m a very picky shopper but the combination of you and your girls behind the camera was so fun! Now I think I need a Costco membership hee hee😊 another video idea might be at a sporting goods or exercise equipment store, showing the basics of equipment needs for strength training at home.

@ChrisBrowne-b3v

Great video so much good information and I like a lot of the same kind of foods it's funny
I have a question though. Can you tell me where you buy your Coke zero mini cans cuz I cannot find them anywhere and I've looked every store I go shopping in every time
