They asked their loyal customer base what they want. These are the people that have multiple cars including multiple Ferraris.
So they put it to them. An EV family car? The collectors go...eh...why not...go for it?! So that deserves a whole rethink.
Needs to be big and have 5 doors.
Needs a cool interior as there are more passengers.
Needs to be comfortable most of the time. Think Rolls Royce more than what we associate with Ferrari.
An EV Porsche sounded ridiculous years ago but look around you. Taycan's are everywhere.
So back to the affluent Ferrari collectors. Will they pay 0.5 million for a futuristic Ferrari EV family car? They'll be falling over themselves to get one!!!
I found this car amazing. It represents perfectly Enzo Ferrari’s mindset: be the best, be the first, do what anybody can’t, make the best car of your century.

@deviu-5Ferrari needs new leadership, that said there are a lot of things to love about the car but it needs to be repackaged. You could buy 8 SU7 ultras with 1600hp and much better looking for the price of this car. If Ferrari was targeting the Chinese luxury market then it’s a fail……
