Half of England in drought, Environment Agency says
Video Overview & Insights
A drought has been declared in half of England after record-low rain and high temperatures.
For Gods sake we live on a Island,
build a few desalination plants around the UK & we have all the water we need!
What are we paying these idiots in government for when the answer to water shortage is obvious!
Desalination plants!
Seven areas of England are now officially in drought, the Environment Agency has said.
They are East Anglia; Hertfordshire and the whole of London; Thames Valley; Hampshire and the Isle of Wight; Devon and Cornwall; the West Midlands and Wessex (covering Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, and south Gloucestershire).
Stop the poison chemtrails spraying daily which stops rain

Lets all blame this on the water companies and how the UK's pipes are made if I were government I would want companies in tip top shape and all houses to be good for any weather.

Water companies are taking the piss. Their job is to supply water, it literally falls out of the sky 6 months of the year. Each water company is making millions in profits each year then they moan there is no water.

It has been announcing the risk of drought every year since I moved to UK in 2021. I am very much of confused that why UK government has no solution or any corresponding measures to resolve the problem!
They rather willing to put the tremendous money in feeding the illegal aliens but nothing to do for helping people to unlock this kind of threatened.

They should have water reserves for the next 10 years because in the UK rain almost 6 months per year .Where is the water reserves ?

Never mind.. Food will become scarce and people will die off like in corona virus.. they had a good run
@nonamet4-y9hBare faced lying
@CFCseventySince privatisation the water companies have greatly reduced replacing and renewing equipment in order to pay bigger dividends to shareholders there lies part of the problem
@davidlee-uu9qjHere's comes another excuse to raise the water rate !
@strategic4124Say no to data centers
@BarryKing-u3xThey told us to bath with friend years ago..🤣😜
@Bannedagain.8334Google '0peration p0peye'. No need for drought to be happening. We already have the technology....
@StarThrower-n4rjust stop paying taxes lol
@MrNinjaFishEnvironment agency working for the water companies. The reservoirs are still fuller than usual near me, still theres a hosepipe ban when there wasnt in revent years. Pure profit, pure corruption. It just eats into their profits cleaning the extra water in the summer
@neilg981All intentional , geoengineering to push the climate change scam which they intend to use to control us .
@nissan300zxtt9I guess being evil doesn't pay off
@MataHari-g7r9wEnd the privatisation of water. Fix the leaks, build the infrastructure; pipelines, reservoirs, desalination plants. Do it Labour!
@trader548And yet the far right will still deny climate change 😢
@TomTom-h8dTake their food, take their electricty, take their water - anyone ever seen this before anywhere, asking for a friend?
@lozhunter9575Rivers running dry? Don’t rivers run from the sea? How is this possible if sea levels are rising? We are an island surrounded by water. With modern methods and technology, salt water can be turned into fresh water. If our governments since Blair’s lunacy reign, actually invested in this country, instead of spending the taxpayers billions on people who haven’t contributed a penny. We would be able to build these things. Whether Liebour or Tory, since Blair, we have followed Fabian socialist nonsense.
@sallygunn9906A Drought has been declared across half of England. Well guess what as of tonight midnight England Men’s Football Team is currently now officially on a 60 Year Trophy Drought. Not a good summer for English People 😂😂
@DimhatAhmedRelease the King Charles files.
@HunterBiden-k6sPeople often ask why water companies haven’t just built loads of reservoirs. The reality is more complicated.
Water companies don’t simply decide where to spend money. Their investment plans have to be approved by regulators, who require them to show they’re choosing the most cost-effective solution for customers. Historically, that has often meant prioritising options like reducing leakage, transferring water between regions, or improving existing infrastructure before building new reservoirs.
On top of that, a new reservoir can take well over a decade to deliver because of planning, environmental assessments, land acquisition and consultation. Reservoirs also have significant environmental impacts, such as flooding habitats and changing river flows, so they face rigorous scrutiny from environmental regulators and planning authorities.
None of that means reservoirs aren’t needed. In fact, many are now being progressed because climate change and population growth mean we need more water storage. But it’s misleading to suggest water companies could simply have built them whenever they wanted.
England is DYING
@GarethMorrisGWMIt was reported on may the 6th 2000 that the planetary earth axis shifted 1 inch on the television 📺 news. The reporter said that he didn't know if anyone would be alive the next day. Which Nostradamus actually predicted the planet earth axis shifted 2 inches bringing forwards our planet earth weather system from 10 thousand years into our planet earth future. So this mega hot heatwave weather that we getting now is going to get hotter and hotter every year until just after the year 6000 already predicted by Nostradamus.
@Zora9500No accountability
@shioabhussain899Water companies private ownership has been tragic
@shioabhussain899What about the data centres!!
@shioabhussain899I feel sorry for the wildlife ... please leave a small container of water out for them.
@gazevans1038Lemme guess? If the common people travel less and pay more "green taxes", itll all be fixed?
@zeeyka99This is news? Yawn..
@coolvideos8864Well last century when we add a longer than usual heatwave. On the analogue television 📺 it was reported that the weather people were going to get a 🌧️☔ man from Africa to do a rain dance to make it rain. It actually worked it rained in a few days. So why are the weather people in the UK in the 21st century completely and utterly thick. And don't know bugger all about our mega long heatwaves like the one that set fire to 🤔 Walton hills near clent hills in England by half scalping the forest trees off it.
@Zora9500Are they going to double our bills again to pay bonuses and then plead poverty again.
@concerned_citizen_number1Hmm, didnt this happen in 1974/1975 🤔
@waynebutler7602We need to turn off the supply for datacentres!
Oh wait, hang on?!
the word pathetic springs to mind
@garnhamrAllows then to take more from aquifers
@Jon-hh3gzOh no, if only we were warned the climate might change and the weather may become more extreme. Good thing we didn't defund/privatise the services that could have eased our way through this. Thank god fire and rescues have been given enough funding to deal with this and aren't having to deal with reduced crewing and aging estates...
@Azl_247And....the other half ain't!!!!😅
@JonPhillips-k1vTHIS IS WEATHER MODIFICATIONS BIGTIME. BAD LAND MANAGEMENT, CHEMTRAILS, DATA CENTRES. ALL DESIGNED FOR THE WEAK MINDED 😂😂
@marksheppard9880Stop filling reservoir in and building on them and build more!
At least 35 water storage sites and reservoirs have been sold off or decommissioned by private water companies in the UK, while only two small new ones were built during that same timeframe. Disgraceful!
I thought everywhere in England was in Drought? Flash drought? here in the midlands we've had virtually no rain this year!
@johnadey3696Wettest year on record last year so wtf is going on??
In 6-8 weeks there will be floods i bet.
crazy when at the beginning of the year most of the country saw nearly 100 days of rain
@SUBBASESOUNDSGas lighting again it rains every day most months build more reservoirs or maybe stop increasing the population deliberately
@wayneherman664Profit from water supplie must be invested into nature
@nerijascepa7682How many wild trees did farmer plant laat few years?
Anybody who didn't plant wild trees has no right to cry about drought.
Totally not the data centres sucking up all our water…
