There is really only 2 things I do different. In the starting area I go to the stable first and only have to kill one zombie to get the metal pitchfork before going to the kitchen to kill all the other zombies for the distance attacks before getting the spear. The second is the first well I believe always has a bucket and a long stick there , or at least it has for me so far every time so I don't carry them.

Thanks for the guide! I love this game! I played for a little over an hour and did a bunch of stuff at the starting area and was running out of food so I headed out to the village area and snuck/ran past the billion zombies. Managed to find an iron helmet and gloves and a halberd I think. But I made the mistake of going into some building in the village and the dozen zombies followed me in. I went upstairs thinking I could jump off the balcony but the game wouldn't let me climb over the balcony to jump off so I was stuck on that balcony while the zombies piled in. I killed a couple of them before I got eaten. Hadn't had this much fun in a game in a while haha.

1:44 you don't even have to break them if they are on the right side of the door. Like this one for example, you can save damage on your axe by just unlocking it.
46:46 if you walk to your left here. There will be a chest "hidden" ontop of a cart or something. That one had a Longsword for me, but i couldn't find a way i could equip it.

its the door have a latch in your side... you can open just open first the latch and after that the door

You dismantle a door because it was latched.. the latch was on your side. All you had to do was look at the latch and unlatch it

@lemmac7973I'm sure the devs are watching anyways, but I think they should make it where items in your vicinity can be used to craft/build/cook just like how you can pick them up to store in your inventory. It really doesn't make sense otherwise.
Also, maybe I missed the reasoning behind it during the intro, but aside from the occasional tweet/twill/chirp there is a complete lack of animals. Seems like something they would be fairly common given the time period and location/environment. Rats, rabbits, deer, birds etc. Maybe they are coming in a later update. Hopefully so, along with ranged weapons.
Other than those two tiny things, this game is phenomenal and I hope this survival engine/system gets carried into other time period, like post apocalyptic. I think it's a fantastic system, all physics based can't think of any other survival games that are physics based and also well balanced as far as detail/depth to fun ratio.

@hakbash7588can you use the basket,etc in the zombie's head? can they still see or hear? can you use the cart? if you move a lot in sharpening, usually fail in sharpening? unequipping your heavy armor, does make you sleep well? usually you can drag container to have extra storage...

@johnny2hands510I didn't find a sword or a spear. Apparently, wasn't attentive enough. I mostly carried a pitchfork and a scythe. I lived in that house with three doors, and the campfire kept burning my legs while I cooked soup. Setting out on my quests, I found a monk on top of the church and then headed to the smithy; I walked straight inside to find a dozen zombies waiting for me. My pitchfork broke, and just as I tried to flee through the door, another ten zombies approached from outside. I didn't even notice the armor on the rack—in the end, I went down and was eaten. This game definitely has potential.

@MackraeOpinianothis is so strange that no matter what armor you put - it doesn't show the protection level,just the weight.. and btw in one the rooms of the monastery (our sratring location) there is a luxury bed!! i guess it has some very good positive buffs when you sleep. i will definately do my base there, there are not many zombis around and there is only one (or maybe two?) holes in stone fence. also when you leave the monastery a little to the left it will be a tree and under it there a chest with very valuable items inside
@snowflake_angiei was waiting such kind of a game for years! i love challenging games where you need to find a house that you like and make it your base, not that type of game where there are tons of resources that you can build your house or where are hordes of enemies or respawn of everything... really i will look forward this game,that's my dream survival game😄that's a pity i didn't know that there is a clean water in this starting location. i spent so big effort to try to boil water in fireplace or in cooking pot😅now i will watch your tutorial to play better and survive longer finally😀
