Hello everyone. In this video, we've prepared 'Aladdin und die Wunderlampe' story for German learners. In the video, expressions and words with the same meaning are matched with the same colors. However, due to the structural differences between the two languages, grammar knowledge is also important for understanding. The story is designed for (A1/A2) beginners.

I find this a very good series to help with A1/A2 discovery of German. There are hundreds of 'conversation' videos, which I have found useful in certain ways. However, they almost never engage me, and I have found 'german' acquisition to be slow. These stories -- I have all of those at this level as of 2026-VI, because they 'involve' people in [fictional] situations that I have known since childhood, have words and phrases which 'stick in my mind'. I find their length usually very good. I prefer the slightly longer ones as they can be more detailed. I copy the .pdf, open in Word and translate using Google translate. I am still listening at 80% speed, and when I read them, this 'slower' voice remains in my memory. Excellent. Thank you.
