Quiche lorraine is usually better than the one you had (it was an industrialy made one you tasted). Real quiche lorraine is yummy and flavorfull.

"Don't tell me French people are all about small portions"...well, apparently they aren't anymore, catering to American tourists who expect a giant cholesterol bomb in every meal. This is not normal...or if it is in France these days, we're all doomed. That croque monsieur is absolutely disgusting example of American gluttony,

Thanks for the video. TBH, I wasn't impressed with the Paris street food scene, when compared to Asia and South America. I would have expected more from Parisians who constantly boost about their culinary prowess.

croque monsieur must be hot and grilled to be eaten, not cold, never!!!!

un éclair au chocolat a du chocolat à l'intérieur, toujours, sinon ce n'est pas un éclair au chocolat
@midom9143Jeeeez that hot chocolate is HIGH, but that Eclair looks so lit.
@SleepyandUnbothered13 euros ? For hot chocolate ? You got scammed my dear friend.
@marionpoli9647There is no such thing as “street food” in French culture. People sit to eat at home in restaurants or cantinas
@1350dfyuThe croque monsieur needs to be cooked! 😂🤦🏻♂️
@cyrillemerlin4628There is litteraly no street food in paris, as we don't eat on the streets !
@RazinskyTesakéclairs have chocolate inside. Only those outside of France mix chocolate icing and cream filling.
@cesarpallincourt9987French here. In fact, France in general is not the best country for "street food" strictly speaking. Even if some dishes are meant to be eaten "sur le pouce", in fact most of them, including small bits, etc. are designed to be prepared and eaten slowly. Here we take time! You can though find good pâtisseries and viennoiseries, and other sweet food (crêpes, gaufres, churros, etc.) but that's all. French traditional food is made in a kitchen ("cuisine" in french), and require often time and several steps. At most, we are good at making "terrasse food". Or "travel/work food", with our saucissons, jambon-beurre sandwiches, pâtés, rillettes, and of course our galaxy of cheeses.
As a tourist in France, it's not a good idea to waste time searching for the "ultimate street food". you should rather look for good, family restaurants with traditional/regional cuisine, that work with good quality local ingredients.
Even as a french i've never seen such a big croque monsieur. It looks like those big tostas mixtas they serve in portugal
@florianfort1724Love you guys, you guys need to visit Montreal next summer, you will love it.
@R10gaming316Thank you tourists for buying overpriced stuff French people don't buy themselves! 😂
@eauzone806profane !!!
@jacquesdemolay2699le sandwich il faut le prendre en "bretagne" car le beurre sera salé et bien meilleur que le beurre parisien sans sel !
@emptyworldrpg1998for the price it's logic for PARIS but if you want a little price it's others city on france
@emptyworldrpg1998cornichons in a jambon-beurre? hérésie! by the way if you find some another traditional sandwich baguette is rosbeef and cornichons or cooked pork, also with cornichons and occasionally little white button vinegar oignons... and Moutarde de Dijon! you have to try! and not traditional french but known fro generations of students you have a vietnameseboulangerie in avenue d 'Ivry in chinese quartier and they sell the best sandwiches of Paris I promise.
@gaelleriddledesnoyers3257Hey guys, Charlie from Sacramento here. I love love love you guys. Although the "cookie" you were eating is pronounced macaron, not macaroon. But I love you guys so much I suppose I could let it go 😁
@charlieshort893413€ for a hot chocolate ? No way.
@olric63Don't ever get a croque monsieur from a bakery ! They have to be made fresh. You eat them in a brasserie.
@rolandcassar75IT IS NOT A CHOCOLATE CROISSANT FOR FS! It’s a pain au chocolat.
@paulbourguignon3632😂😂😂city of love 😂😂😂it’s a joke
C’est vraiment une blague l’une des pires capitale d’europe .
Hi guys, I’m French (actually half German) and I moved abroad 7 years ago, and you have no idea how much I enjoy rediscovering my country through your eyes. Thanks for the videos! Vielen Dank!
@tokyotidienas a Parisian I wouldn’t pay more than €5/6 for a hot chocolate haha
@Noalexis62Guys, that ain’t “street” food
@LatinScribe1Croque-monsieur MUST be ordered in a CAFE or BRASSERIE, NOT in a boulangerie !
@thekeyboardess11508e la galette?? God! Galette saucisse à Rennes à 3.5e
@cecilelpt5808this little pastry shop where you found the strawberries cake and the éclair au chocolat is very probably the only real french pastry shop you met on your way ^^ others were traps for tourists :p the jambon beurre seemed not a fake french thing too. oh and orangina ! but you didn't shake it ^^
@gattypascalas a parisien i WILL never buy 13 € soft drink.
@ANOKATA🇨🇵 In Brittany, we have a saying: "If you want to get rid of your money, go to Paris."😅
@ludovic7439the price of the galette !!! tourist trap !
@fab18610:52 It's not a "chocolate croissant", it's a "pain au chocolat or chocolatine.
