Around noon on April 3rd, 2023, panic erupted at a small apartment complex in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dozens of 911 callers and witnesses reported seeing two individuals shoot a woman in the parking lot.

When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old woman on the ground, shot three times.
She would die from her injuries moments later.
No matter how many times i watch videos like this, i just dont understand why, the second they are arrested or asked to come for an interview, they dont demand a lawyer.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long for police to find a lead.

@FibberMckay@4:19 it's a masterclass in pretty much everything tbh. Rapport building, sure, but also establishing baseline body language and tone, similar to "control" questions in a polygraph test. The detective also flexes how smart she is and how much she knows about freeclimbing, to subtley sow the idea that getting one over on her is going to be very, very difficult. Some people are born to be detectives and she's one of them.
