Ryan Cohen is a very, very silly man with no business plan. He's just a bored idiot billionaire

"The high margin growth opportunities for this business within live commerce, which the company has not been doing well, and using GameStop stores as nodes for both the marketplace and live commerce is huge because the business today in live commerce is tiny and building out a digital marketplace for in-game items."
What does that actually... Mean? Legitimately, apes, can you please explain that to me. Don't say I'm a Wall Street shill, don't say I should just short the stock, don't give me a meme phrase. What does "live commerce" and "and using GameStop stores as nodes for both the marketplace and live commerce" actually mean in practical terms? Because that's a lot of corporate buzzwords.

A love story ...
Gamestop is like some hot handsome smart funny talented company, who made good, but for some - is still from “the wrong side of the tracks” and now that company has met and fallen for ebay, a midrange matron of a company with untapped potential.
Together they could be a powerhouse of a power couple.
But ebay’s meh management and MSM are trying to keep the star-crossed pair separated. However, the company from “the wrong side of the tracks” has its heart set on a union.
The first overture from the parents (board) denied the dowry of 125 a share (“half cash/half stock”) but this rebuff and the cackle of Wall Street hyenas in the “press” has not detoured the scrappy brick and mortar from its continued courtship and pursuit of a merger that will shock naysayers (who are gonna neigh) and culminate with shaking off the husk of the past and embarking on a brave, bold adventure into greater profitability, market share and delighting consumers, sellers, collectors and players alike.
You are cordially invited to the Merger of Gamestop & ebay … date TBD.

Listen to the daily Bloomberg Technology podcast here:
Moody’s is frequently described as a "scam" by critics and online commentators who argue that its credit ratings are inflated and corrupted by conflicts of interest. This criticism stems primarily from the 2008 financial crisis, where Moody’s and other major rating agencies assigned high ratings to risky mortgage-backed securities that subsequently collapsed, exacerbating the global recession.

The absolute smugness of someone whose sole success is being a talking head on a finance network when questioning an entrepreneurial genius like Cohen.... Reminds me of the pharisees trying everything they can to trap someone in a question without caring about, or in fact trying to conceal, the truth.

Arrogance x 100. Guy is obviously a smart businessman. Fortunately, I am, too and in that regard I choose not to invest in him. Must be insufferable to work for.

At first, I thought the proposal to buy eBay was a joke. However, the more I watch Ryan not giving up on buying eBay…he has a solid point. GameStop and eBay together makes a lot of sense strategically. He’s also putting his own money where his mouth is. You can’t really ask for anything better than that when the CEO has skin in the game.
@letsgotospace2145Gamestop stock has remained the same with or without Cohen.
@starboy5177Remember this host was picked by an aging frat bro corporate manager. Index finger ring. Slightly too-big glasses. Effeminate slight lisp. What a fraud. He gets 30 minutes with a great businessman and you ask no real questions about gme's business. He picks negative talking points and refuses to take responsibility for the charade by saying he's just representing shareholders on social media. This "journalist" is a charlatan and would be seen as such by a true competitive, capitalist society.
@felixkrull7cohen seems like a bigger and bigger joke.
@IwantmyvotebackAaah yes the "activist" "aligned with shareholders" billionaire who wiped out BBBY investors (not very aligned there), diluted GME to death with no apparent plan and is shocked why Ebay doesn't accept his lousy offer😂hope he gets sued for the rest of his life that parasite ally of wall street zionists.
@JackedTotheTThe CEO is very Trumpian and I love it
@videogametraderI like this CEO. I would like GameStop to license its Funcoland brand and allow independent game stores to be Funcoland locations.
@videogametraderTELL US YOUR OPINION EDDDDD
@LimegreendicedWhy still give this joker airtime. what a waste of space.
@desaturated6049Toa Belion Dahlurs in thuh ferst yeeheir?
@sullytube7Why is the ceo of eBay making $30 million a year and doesn’t buy any stock
@criticalthinker2760Go, Ryan, gob🎉
@yasukobryan3169How much of the sales is from people coming in to look and new and used physical games...
This is a stupid take.
Ryan Cohen aura farmed crazy here.
@criticalthinker2760Ain’t nobody got anything bad to say about my ceo
@criticalthinker2760Fumbled this interview real hard
@HinshawSeanEvery time the stock price of Ebay drops he should buy more.
@whodidit99DRS GME
@hodl6533🎉🎉🎉
@DonSteinYTFuck the FUCKING media....... In Ryan mother FUCKING cohen we trust
@chrisnelson3046people want gamestop to fail bc "best i can do for your $60 game is $5 store credit" and "do you want a warranty, pro subscription, and credit card??"
@MegaMijitryan is wrong about physical games being irrelevant, PHYSICAL GAMES COLLECTOR'S EDITIONS MAKE THE MOST DESIRABLE COLLECTIBLES!
@MegaMijit"ITS HALF CASH AND HALF STOCK" HEADASS
@MegaMijitCohen is a fraud and a grifter.
@cmh10021No one wants to buy GameStop. So you worry about physical games going away. GameStop is on shaky ground one Pokemon goes back down.
@actionfigurearchive9002Make your own eBay…oh that’s right,
You can’t. Go back to killing your customers over charging for collectibles.
A better idea is to have Nintendo buy Gamestop. So they can sell only their physical games and their Pokemon cards at the stores. Just sell failing Gamestop to Nintendo for half price..Nintendo will do a much better job. Ryan Cohen should just start a new eBay. There is plenty of market shae to take..eBay is outdated. Just start over from scratch. I could start a new eBay from my house using A! Why waste money on buying eBay? AI is going to make every Nasdaq stock worthless very soon since millions of people can just start their own eBay and Amazon. In fact small online sellers don't even have to charge sales tax. They have a huge competove advantage over Amazon and eBay! Billionaires will also be obsolete. We will start eBay and Amazon's so cheaply it will make their money no longer necessary. Amazon and eBay markeshare will be destroyed by a death by a thousand small cuts. AI is the future. It's just a matter of time
@jimforthewIs it cold hard cash?
@GrassInnSpaceIt's not hard to make Gamestop good when you lie, deceive and cheat your own customers.
@unendlicht1404完成沒有水準的訪問,大家都看到Gampstop近5年的業績大臨改善,但主流媒體卻被華爾街充基金空投操控,一直在不斷抹黑
@RexNg-z1zThe guy is a fucking joke. Hope GME goes to 0
@stephenc.7578Hahaha thats my ceo no one's gonna telegraph their plans to their enemies
@monkeybutt2270Ebay can strike Cohen at any time of their choosing. Call it $MULN or $APE 2.0
- Under eBay's corporate charter (as filed with the SEC), the Board of Directors has the sole power to issue preferred stock, at any time without requiring further approval or a vote from common shareholders, and determine the specific preferences, rights, and privileges attached to those shares. LOL!
