But Pio did the ordinary, and the extraordinary. Shouldnt it be the same for us. Moreover, Christ Himself did ordinary, and extraordinary as well and tells us to do both...... Also, Solomon was faithful in many things as well as doing extraordinary things..... If something the church says goes against the deposit of faith are we not supposed to speak up for our lord, and give occasion to explain the faith? For me this creates confusion, but luckily I know my Lord, and when He tells me to do something a pharisee that is comfortable with the ordinary will not stop me. This is what our Lord did.....

I don't get it, if he was wise, why did the bad stuff make sense to him? I think God must have taken his wisdom away, I can't see how those compromises are compatible with wisdom, idk why

Solomon seems to have been tempted by all the wives Adam was tempted by eve. Eve was deceived and ate the fruit that God forbid what animal was tempted by Eve to eat the fruit and he did it. Solomon seems to have been tempted by not just the women but their position in their countries as father Mike said to bring alliances with the neighboring countries etc. Interesting

I’m not Catholic so I’ve never heard of Padre Pio before. So he performed miracles like Jesus?

Could you talk more about what are the ordinary things God has asked from all of us? I understand it’s important to love our neighbor – but what else are the ordinary things?

Can u gain it all back? If God is in control, can he restore it and heal it or once its lost to the dark side, theres no chance of getting it back?

Father Armando Bredici was a father here in the church that I go to, and he was one of saint father Pio’s acolytes.

God is Love; and Love is His first Gift to us, containing all others.

I know the SSPX Latin mass is being criticized as disobedient and unfaithful, but would someone please give me a Biblical defense of the SSPX ? Please? Padre Pio was obedient even to unjust authority, but is there ever a time or place for the SSPX to defend their rights ? I have faithful friends who say the SSPX is okay, but other friends who say it’s not. I can’t make up my mind.

💕🌺❤️‍🔥Lord Jesus hear my prayers at times I want to give up yet you are my strength. I’m overwhelmed as a single parent. Both of my sons have special needs and I struggle to provide daily necessities like food, clothing, and shelter for them I am so ashamed. JESUS Give me strength.

Yet another Sunday saved by Fr Mike. Thankful for the priests we have but boy! Why can't they put some thought and prayer into that very important moment when they have a captive audience and actually preach something worth listening to?

When I came back to the church I was looking for the truth and to “win the argument” - it spent enough time around Mennonites and Amish to know they didn’t have the real idea of God. I’ve got my own presents but I’m glad I didn’t ask for miracles 😂

I have never quite understood, if Solomon was given wisdom, why could he not discern the error of his own ways? Why did he not fear the Lord as the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Did he only get worldly wisdom the “go along to get along” type of wisdom. Not the Job wisdom of “though he slay me yet I will trust him kind”. What happened there? And if I could I would love the gift of flight! 😊 but I will have faith instead.
