The troops run towards the area, you send them. If you want them to be more proficient send them into the region edge. So if the bandits act, they stop. So you can set the defense up the way you want them.

Turns out it is a historical unit of area primarily used in Germany and the Netherlands that represents the amount of land an ox-drawn plow could till in one morning. So it would seem that a plot of 2 morgen would take a full day to plow. Apparently the measurement is still used in countries like South Africa, Norway, Denmark and parts of the Balkans.

I am facinated at how incompetend at combat you are. Have you considered ordering your troops to actually attack instead of setting just movement points? Or have you considered that sending in archers in the fron't is a bad Idea?
