Thanks for breaking it down. The average person has no idea how unstable the economy actually is and how much precious metals can protect them. I tell most young people--who still may be somewhat impressionable--to buy as much as they can afford monthly or quarterly. Even just skipping their daily latte or one night out per month spent in and putting those savings into gold and silver can completely change their lives later--if they hold it for a while.

@Cali736I have heard for years the price of silver is greatly undervalued compared to gold. The rarity of the metal, the increased demand for it's use in industry, the lack of physical supply, and the lack of mining production. And yet it lags gold substantially. Even at $66.00/oz, it still lags gold from a traditional price ratio to gold. We are still at a 70:1 silver to gold price ratio. When will we see a 30:1 price ratio or even a traditional 15:1 price ratio? It's supposed to be so rare and in such demand and yet it has lagged gold for YEARS! Even to the tune of a 110:1 silver to gold price ratio just recently. I want to see 15:1 ratio again and that would be very average in my book! $6000.00/oz gold price would give a $400.00/oz silver price with a 15:1 traditional ratio. And that to me would be just normal.
