The music from the FRESHWATER NATURAL AQUARIUM DOCUMENTARY was created by musical genius Elias Castro (Taremuru). We strongly recommend the use of headphones or good speakers so you can enjoy the music.

good narration and video, but the background noise is intolerable; so-called "world music" is just primitive people making a racket - mankind moves on in civilization - you have a wide variety of great music to choose from - Jazz, Blues, Western Folk, Classical - even some progressive Rock - please use that in the future -- this stuff makes me turn your vids off partway thru' ...

“You cannot preserve something that you don’t know exists”......yes you can, because if you dont know about it then you cant mess with it and that allows it to take its natural course. If you leave things alone they wont need preservation.

Want to check all of Mikolji’s gear?

I couldn’t watch it all because the music was so annoying. It’s a pity, because the footage was really good and the guy seemed to know what he was talking about.

This video is showing all of the habitats in pristine condition.. That is not the case in most of the world.. I'm pretty sure that most of the river systems in south america are also quite polluted.. My africans are better off in my tank than they are in the filthy lakes they come from..
Great footage ,great video. Thank you very much uploader.
How old is this video footage?

This is why I take Iwagumi aquascaping and such so seriously that I don’t add any fish that easily and not more sorts together.. either one or two and very few based on how their habitat looks like

Tropical fish from soft acid warm water (⁰dGh= 0 to 4, pH= 5 to 7 (please correct this range extreme values), T= 24 to 28 ⁰C (maybe It can get higher at remaining ponds after a dry season), ⁰dKH = can be very high, mostly combined with the lowest pH which comes from a lot of organic matter decomposing which implies very high CO2 presence).

Thank you for sharing your video with us. It’s an invaluable resource of information. I’ve never realized how turbid many of these natural water systems were (most of the home aquariums I’ve seen had crystal clear water).

Wow. At 17:00 it was great to see the plants of Vellozia doing so well.
I did not realise they grew in Venezuela, knowing there are a lot in Bahia and nearby States of Brazil.

Also it was great to see so many aquatic plants, Venezuela is lucky to have such diversity.

Plecos will bury themselves and they can also dry out and comeback once rehydrated. Come back when it’s dry and see if you can rehydrate one, then Of course relocate him! I ❤
