YouTube has a surprisingly big catalog of free films, but the feature is a little hidden. In this quick tutorial, I’ll show you exactly where to find YouTube’s free movie library on desktop, mobile, and TV so you can start watching tonight.
You’ll learn how to access YouTube’s Movies & TV section and browse the free titles. I’ll also show you where to find new releases if you ever want to rent or buy movies.
In Australia, we do not have the FREE option, we have to scroll through them all.
Movies mentioned in this video include Mission Impossible, Mr. Bean, Lucy, Airplane, and more -- but the catalog updates often, so you’ll always find something worth watching.

I want to watch Soylent Green on my android, a movie I first saw & loved in the early 1970's. I cannot find it anywhere for free & it's a whopping $12.99 if you want to buy it on YT. This movie is over 50 yrs old. Is it just me, or is this price outrageous? I checked CD prices, which are about the same amount. Thinking I need a reality check 😅.

This is not true for the YouTube app on a smart tv. I know for a fact that you cannot browse the entire catalog of YouTube movies with this method. You have to use a 3rd party app and those apps are misleading as to which service offers a particular movie. You're really left up to chance as to what you see when you browse.

@laurentfranco8075I used to have it, but they removed it. I can still see my purchases, but when searching for new movies to buy or rent... all gone.
EDIT:
A minute after posting I found it.
They moved it from Explore to "You". It is there, and when you access it, you got the options to browse, live and free.

@kamalsadyoIn India it's called "Films" instead of "Movies & TV". No free movies at least on Youtube Trial Subscription enabled in India region.
