I just passed today with a 785 after around 3 months of studying!!!
I wanted to share a few things which might be helpful to some...
I hold a degree in CS but have no experience in cybersecurity. I decided to focus on cybersecurity after graduating by first getting the Google Cybersecurity Certificate and now the Security+. Prior to the exam, I had watched almost every video there is on YouTube around Security+.
The test was way harder than expected. I got 76 questions, with 4 of them being PBQs. Almost all the questions were tricky. There were very little "no brainer" questions, which really discouraged me. I was certain that I had failed, however, I somehow passed 😄
I would now like to personally thank the following creators/channels for their help, effort and contribution through this journey:
Thank you Professor Messer for the Training Course & the Practice Exams.
Thank you Cyberkraft for the PBQ videos & the Ports and Protocols video.
Thank you Cyber James for the Practice Exam videos.
Thank you Dark Bird Tech for the Training Course & the Practice Exam videos.
Good luck to everyone taking the test.
Below are time stamps for you to jump in and resume where you left off.
00:00:00 - Intro
A bit of an older video, but I passed my exam, you helped a bit with some of your sec+ question videos
00:01:35 - Question 1
00:02:58 - Question 2
20:01 regarding this question I chose Impersonation and Smishing because it was an text message (SMS) request the change. Likely from the “IT” department because from what I learned I thought phishing was specifically email related. Is it the wording of the question because I head just says it can’t be phishing if it’s smishing… :(
00:04:52 - Question 3
00:06:58 - Question 4
Just passed my Sec+ 701 this morning thanks in large part to your videos. Much of my test was similar to your examples where all 4 answers COULD be correct, so you going through to logically determine which is MOST correct was extremely valuable. Thank you!
00:09:40 - Question 5
00:12:29 - Question 6
I was struggling with preparation until I found Passexam4sure. The study material was updated, precise, and matched the real exam format. It gave me confidence and helped me achieve success quickly.
00:15:39 - Question 7
00:20:09 - Question 8
I do not agree with some of your answers Accepted Used Policy needs to be reviewed when employees are using personal devices or other devices that are not company issued.
00:22:45 - Question 9
00:24:51 - Question 10
I don’t usually comment on videos, but I wanted to thank you for the Q&A! I watched this the night before my Sec+ and I believe it helped show me some of my weaknesses. I ended up passing first try with a 788 and I now have the trifecta! Thanks 🤙
00:27:22 - Question 11
00:29:47 - Question 12
Thank you so much these are very helpful!
00:33:34 - Question 13
00:37:15 - Question 14
For those who may have already taken the exam....or even to the creator....are these questions on the easy side or am i just ready?

Taking my Security+ next month. thanks for the video's
00:45:39 - Question 17

Are these questions deceptively easy or are these how easy some of the questions on the test are?
00:53:14 - Question 19
00:55:48 - Question 20
I just wanted to express my gratitude for your amazing content! Thanks to your insightful videos and guidance, I passed my CompTIA Security+ exam today with a score of 778! Keep up the great work, and thanks again for helping me achieve this milestone!
00:59:54 - Question 21
01:01:20 - Question 22
Thank You for these questions
I split them over two days and I will revisit next week before I take my exam
01:03:36 - Question 23
01:06:05 - Question 24
Please, are the same questions repeated in the CompTIA Security exams? I mean, is there a large group of questions from which, for example, 90 questions are chosen? Will it be in the same format?
01:08:58 - Question 25
01:12:19 - Question 26
In question 18, you referred to “an organization,” which implies a single entity. However, federation is intended for authenticating across multiple organizations, while SSO typically allows authentication across multiple applications within a single organization. So, how does federation make sense in this context?
01:14:40 - Question 27
01:16:24 - Question 28

02:06:24 - Question 47
02:08:38 - Question 48

02:10:20 - Question 49
02:12:49 - Question 50
Trying out this video, I missed 7 questions. Really need to look at port numbers. I'll need to see if there's an easy way to remember the port numbers and the stuff using them would be a great help.

I got very frustrated by some questions
Question 34: I 100% agree you need hashing since it is asking for a one way hard to reverse, however I am seeing two definitions online of salting, one is that salting is the process of adding the characters and not necessarily hashing it, and others saying it does include the hash. Key stretching though it does have key in the name seems to also say online that is also for passwords which would seem more secure to hash the hash and thus forth. That would seem more secure than a simple salt.
Question 42: you say "fix" which automatically means we shouldn't need to rescan since we have for sure fixed it, it would be best to then update
Question 43: a SIEM aggregates and standardizes all of the log data to one place, but if you have a good enough Machine learning algorithm that could easily do it as well, and it would be better at potentially finding IoCs, it might give some false positive but it would be better than preset from the simple "Automation" which is vague.
Question 45: You kinda even argued for it that you should check for natural disasters first, why would I even look into a countries data laws before looking into its geographic, geographics might take more time however, if know that the place floods or has hurricanes all the time, that would be better to know instead of wasting your time on reading up on their laws and regulations.
I would love to hear your explanation or clarification, I am trying to get better for my upcoming test and this practice had some great questions and answers I could not agree with.

Just passed my Sec+ 701. Make sure you know how routers and VPNs work. Also all the abbreviations... Also know all the ports... Also know everything about network and cloud... And remember you can only miss about 10 questions max or you will fail. Good luck!

Just passed my Sec+ today, this was probably the best Q&A i found. You address the issue we face of multiple answers being right by deducing each answer choice to figure out what the best answer might be. Thank you!
