00:00: Introduction to Formula 1

07:05 The 1950s: The Dawn of F1

After all these decades of innovation and getting better, now Max Verstappen says they're going backwards, it's ashame they want to take away fuel engines, and it's no fun, if it's no fun to Max it's no fun to us all

— @brandonpennington1983

00:24:45 The 1960s: The Era of Innovation

00:43:18 The 1970s: The Age of Glamour and Danger

Are you kidding me, drivers error, I doubt that, this is Ayrton Senna, the man that knew a wall moved 5mm because of his extreme precision, if it was drivers error he must have had a seizure or something, the car broke that couldn't be more obvious to me, teammate was looking out for team!

— @brandonpennington1983

01:06:16 The 1980s: Turbocharged Battles

01:25:31 The 1990s: The Rise of Schumacher

Wow Shumacher very well could've been 10 time CHAMPION, that's wild, and I thought Lewis & Max were the dominators!

— @brandonpennington1983

01:48:47 The 2000s: A Decade of Controversy

02:20:56 The 2010s: The Turbo Hybrid Era

Not only was Ayrton Senna killed a IMOLA but Roland Ratzenberger was killed the day before, they shouldn't have even raced!

— @brandonpennington1983

02:44:52 The 2020s: The Return of Red Bull

03:07:41 Conclusion

Wild to not mention the Surtees when talking bout the Halo

— @Muzzphooka

Exploration and experimentation, the twin pillars of human progress, have driven us from the first flicker of fire to the monumental moon landing. It's this unquenchable thirst for discovery and the urge to push boundaries that has carved our path through history. This quest led us to conquer oceans, delve deep into the earth, spark the industrial revolution, and ultimately, give birth to the combustion engine.

The dawn of the combustion engine brought about new possibilities. The horseless carriage, as cars were first known, was slower than walking at first. Just a toy for rich men with more money than sense. In England, from 1865 to 1896, you had to have someone walk in front of you waving a red flag to warn horse riders and people walking that you were coming. For years they were impractical, unreliable, and far more expensive than a horse and carriage, but that wouldn’t last for long.

Just getting into F1 and this documentary was everything I needed! I'm hooked

— @LordKev

But now times have changed and so did the perception of people about cars.

How did we go from horse carriages to racing multi-million-dollar vehicles on track? Well, watch till the end to find out more.

2005 is the worst season so far

The story of Purley trying to save Williamson is absolutely harrowing, I had to sit and take a minute after that.

I've been watching f1 for 6 or 7 years now, I've watched many videos and some documentaries. By no means am I an expert, but this video is fantastic. So much detail in teams, drivers, cars, engines, rules, and championships. I'm gonna have to save this video as a reference. Great job!

"Jenson Button, driving a car that was held together by electrical tape and prayers by the end of the season" is such a great line. Amazing work!!!

@alejandrasoto5382

In the early days, cars were seen as "too fast to be respectable"? If they got over speed being something foreign, I wonder what we see as unnatural that will be common someday?

Indianapolis F1! Fn Indianapolis management! Brand new track and already sinking???? .
A mier $3000 wouldn't make a colossal angry crowd!
Just a conspiracy ! And not to have F1 take over the brickyard...
All tho! Other cities came up

@ricardoallen4381
@

Half a point???
Can someone explain this statement to me.
As is ridiculous F1 to day.
1, 2 3 championship! And the rest by points collected to zero (0)
Now it's a
Fastest lap
Track maintained
Lab speed
Non! sense to the old one 1 to 10 score points.
Now! 1 to 500 with the same result! 1,2,and 3! PIRIOT..
Thank you for your precious time everyone.

Great video man, Brings back memories for me, Formula 1 has been part of my life, all my life. My dad was a ardent F1 fan since it first started. Hah! I remember him telling me about how he was able to catch the first ever F1 race at Silverstone, on the radio live as they didn't have a TV. He was 7 years old. Of course us guys are influenced by our dads, so he took me to my first F1 race in 1987 when i was 10. We are die hard Tifosi of course. Ferrari is our team, always has been, always will be. I named my son Enzo! I watch every race with my son. We go to at least 1 race a year. we went to Monza in 2024 and watch Charles win! F1 has given me some of the greatest memories i have in my life. with my dad, with my son.
