We’ve got Mat in the incredible Mercedes-AMG G63, and it’s going up against the absolutely huge Ford F-150 Raptor R! So, can German power take down American power? Let’s check out the stats.
The G63 is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 585hp and 850Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 2,550kg. As new, it costs around £185,000.
My suggestion might be the driver, why don’t you make a switch.
Next up, we have the F-150 Raptor R. It’s packing a 5.2-litre supercharged V8 that creates 720hp and 868Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed auto, and it tips the scales at 2,699kg. If you’re looking to buy one in the UK, it’ll cost around £168,000.

@nikolabenz124Unfortunately many of the people commenting this are just European idiots like me (unfortunately, wish I was living in the USA), and they just can’t how American cars are infinitely more reliable (while also having better resale, and quality, and now even excellent in ultra to ultra, ultra luxury, with Cadillac now competing with rolls Royce with their new celestiq) than our European ones and also just take a look at the zr1x being one of the fastest cars in the world, also the Escalade v can easily gap the merc. Along with that the ford did pretty decent for its size, but if it was gm’s ultra luxury sport full size beast, the Escalade v, the merc wouldn’t have lasted in the race. Not to mention the Cadillac Escalade is infinitely more reliable than the Europeans as well. Man the americans really redeemed themselves on excellent vehicles, great job USA!🇺🇸 (gm and etc.)
