United fan here and i loved ronaldo so much as a kid, we won everything with him (and wazza). But it confuses me a bit when people say he's better than messi... like are you watching the same sport lol? For anyone who truly loves football, watching messi is watching the game you love elevated to a level you didnt know was possible... until you see it with your own eyes at the feet of a little kid from argentina. He embodies everything beautiful about the game and then some and never fails to delight the child in your heart who played in the street with your friends as a kid until it got dark. He is magical beyond belief and carries it with an innocense, grace and humility that just makes you love him even more. He makes you feel blessed to watch him. Is ronaldo a great player? Yes. Has he exhibited an almost superhman level of dedication to his craft in combination with a more than modest share of natural talent? Definitely. But messi is just... aargh! There are no words ❤
