Video footage has been shared in social media showing Russia’s so-called shadow fleet tankers struck in Ukrainian attacks. Footage features the aftermath of Ukrainian FP-2 kamikaze drone attacks on Russian vessels operating in the Sea of Azov in Russia’s Rostov region. A total of 14 vessels were struck during the night leading to July 12. The video captures plume of black smoke coming out from the tanker as well as the dock after the ship was destroyed. Ukraine has increasingly targeted Russian oil tankers in the Sea of Azov as part of a broader campaign to disrupt fuel supplies, weaken military logistics, and isolate occupied Crimea. Using long-range drones, Ukrainian forces have struck multiple tankers and other support vessels.

@SvetoglyaGrowing up, our sailing club in Rostov would organise 3-5-day trips down the Don river past Elizavetinskaya, Azov, and all the way to the Azov sea.
We would sail all day then camp in the mouth right where Don flows into the gulf of Taganrog.
Nowadays it's the war zone. I still can't believe it.
Great childhood memories absolutely ruined by this war.
