The too conservative approach reminds me of the LA Kings last year vs Edmonton. The Kings won, barely hung on after big leads in game 1-2. Then, lost the next 3 games, despite having big leads going into the 3rd period. They literally would just dump the puck into Edmonton’s blue zone and fall back to play D… it was hard to watch… they refused to play any offense and lost 3 straight and then a fourth.
