You don't really need stattrak removal, just make it part of the trade-up, like the float. Every ST input gives +10% of a ST output, unless the output can't be ST then ST inputs are the same as non-ST (same as souvenir now). Not only does it make glove trade-ups easier, but now all skins above blue can be ST.

Valve is slowly forcefully lowering prices of skins and stickers. First it was golds, gold price dropped - some of the value went back into reds and prices stabilized. IF Valve adds sticker removal tool, prices of stickers will drop and that value will be rotated into skins with stickers preapplied. IF Valve adds sticker trade ups, the more desirable stickers will drop a little bit but a lot of that lost value will be rotated into the trade up fuel. And lets be real, if Valve adds sticker trade ups then I feel a sticker removal tool will come with it. Why would they add a tradeup option without Battle Scared - Fac New? The more you detach a sticker the worse the wear becomes therefore making Fac New stickers more valuable and desirable. Valve adds Sticker Trade ups and Sticker Removal tool = panic sellers and new all time lows, followed by another slight jump in price and a slight recovery - This applies to Skins with preapplied stickers as well. To me personally, its almost a show of power. Maybe Valve is trying to show these pumpers that they dont control the market one bit. And lets get even more real - Yes rarity and demand will drive the price of something up, but it is not logical that a skin in a video game with no real world application should be $50K+.

Valve literally destroyed peoples entire counterstrike experience in one update. Imagine spending countless hours collecting and spending absurdly stupid amounts of money on exclusive pixelated items only to have the very company who made the game take it away from you. For some (mostly chinese) this is literally their life savings and valve has just stripped that away from them all for a tiny boost in profits. Valve are genuinely scum bags, you cant do that to a community. The knife tradeup update literally caused mass suicides in China (their banks are corrupt as fuck so a lot of people treated cs2 as a bank) and valve are continuing to make it worse.

I really think sticker trade ups are next, tons .03 cents stickers all over the market, they know adding a tradeup system for that would net them way more from steam tax due to hype, why wouldn't they do something like that. Although I think this will be toward the end of year, probably around november/december since it looks like they are doing big tradeup updates every 6ish months.

the "souvenirs" that are crafted are fake af souvenirs, the only real souvenirs are the ones unboxed, idgaf. notice the prices of the real souvenirs haven't actually gone down in price, yeah a "souvenir" dragonlore sold for 12k but thats just a dlore with gold stickers on it that some dumbass overpaid for. the crafted souvenirs will go up when crafting souvenirs is gone, I also don't see crafting souvenirs to be returning for the next major personally, I see them returning back to packages and capsules.
