we make 4K holiday films and from family parties and use MXF files from our second camera and in filmora 14 I have just downloaded no. 14 which can handle the MXF files

CAN'T ANYONE MAKE A VIDEO FOR THE BASICS THAT WORKS WITH ONE CLIP? Everyone has to start with working with ONE clip in term of cutting, cropping, etc. The co-pilot doesn't even provide information on CROPPING, which is a very basic function we often need to use. Also, we don't all waste our brain's memory space by memorizing a bunch of keyboard shortcuts. I like this program, but I can't find out how to crop my video ANYWHERE. That's a pretty basic function.

I've been using Camtasia for years, but Camtasia 2024 is worthless. I don't need anything that powerful (or expensive) anyway. This might be a better choice, especially since I can get a perpetual plan I can use forever for about $80, and Camtasia costs $180 a year.

Please help! How do I change the video resolution? I accidentally changed it from 1920x1080 to 576x1296 and saved it. I don't know how to revert it back to the previous resolution.

@phato7930I'm using Filmora video editor. When I update Filmora, all my loaded videos disappear from the media and I need to drag them in again. Is there a way to keep the video in the Media after a Filmora update? It's anoying to have to drag them in all the time.
@herceg6772As good as your video is - Filmora and Wondershare are an awful company. They advertise "30 Day Money Back Guarantee" at checkout only to tell you no when you call "only money back if there's an issue they can't solve". They also advertise small features like "add subtitles" as a standard feature but without reading t&c's you wouldn't know that it costs A LOT of money in 'AI Credits'. It's a real scam and sad that they operate this way.

@NomadBranderIf as stated, the intention is to teach Filmora to beginners, basic steps the beginner should be aware of should not be "hurried over". For example, should the aspect ratio be talked about? Why hurry over the role of the copilot?
Would knowing about this help the BEGINNER?
If one purpose is to show how easy FILMORA is to use and therefore buy it, perhaps the video should be re-edited, and the presentation slowed down for the viewer to reflect on what is being said.

@LeandroAzevedo-tz4snHi, I'm new to all this and have been trying to decide what software I'll need to buy. I've done some research and from what I've seen, Filmora has a TON of fantastic capabilities.
I also noticed that with Soundtrap I can create loops and can make music, but I haven't been able to find where doing that is available in Filmora. I see that Filmora (apparently) has pre-recorded music - but can I "create" music within Filmora or do I need to create it in Soundtrap, then import the file to Filmora (is that even possible?)
I tried to find an e-mail address to ask this question and couldn't find any way to do that (I tried the Wondershare website) but after 20 minutes of searching, gave up - I then came across a website that reviews various support for different companies and they said that Wondershare had some of the worst reviews of all of the companies they have reviewed.
Has anyone had trouble getting help (or even contacting them...) I also noticed that Wondershare headquarters are in China - don't know if that has anything to do with why the company (apparently) has such bad reviews...

I reported BUGS year ago. STILL NOT FIXED ! I tried to called published support numbers - NO ANSWER ! I ried to contact CHAT SUPPORT - no reply ! I asked to implement super basic, simple editing feature - no success !
Thanks for this update. I once was a Filmora FCC, but quit when they pricing fiasco happened with Danial Batal and Wondershare. So, perceptual means annual subscription. I am STILL confused.
