Ferrari HUGE SF-26 Upgrade JUST LEAKED as Mercedes Faces FIA Clampdown

HOW IS CADILLAC DOING? New team , you are a DNF.

— @RodneyRotten

Ferrari’s HUGE SF-26 upgrade has just been revealed—and it could arrive at the perfect moment. After back-to-back defeats against Mercedes in Australia and China, Ferrari is preparing a major performance step designed to close the gap in both straight-line speed and energy deployment.

With Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc already extracting strong cornering performance from the SF-26, the focus is now clear: fix the power deficit and unlock the car’s full potential. Under Fred Vasseur, Ferrari has taken a disciplined approach—holding back upgrades, gathering data, and preparing a complete package expected to debut soon.

Let me tell you what will happens you will bring the upgrade but it won’t work and you know why because Ferrari is a big mouths and big mouth are ment to fail lmao just wait for Suzuka for another slap in the face, and then you will come and say Ferrari is creating hyperbolic engine to catch Mercedes lmao

— @zamansultan519

At the same time, Mercedes’ early-season dominance is now under increasing scrutiny. Ongoing discussions around power unit regulations and compression ratio checks could impact their current advantage, especially as FIA enforcement tightens later in the season.

This sets up a fascinating scenario: Ferrari is improving rapidly with a structured development plan, while Mercedes may face changes that could affect its performance edge.

Mercedes will also be learning fast and making decisions on upgrades and that is normal when new regs come in.

— @PaulBertenshaw

Can Ferrari time this upgrade perfectly and finally challenge Mercedes at the front? Or will Mercedes remain ahead despite the pressure?

Watch the full breakdown to understand how this battle could evolve in the coming races.

if Mercedes don't do any upgrades maybe in 2 years Ferrari will catch up :)))

If Mercedes has to make changes to their engine to comply with compression ratio regulations in June, isn’t that a breach of the rules? Engine development is supposed to be frozen.

Well all that’s all well and good but the bottom line is Ferrari has to get some major power to even remotely close gap to Mercedes . They’re really fast in the corners but once they get on the straights the W17 just disappears on them

Ferrari will only win with their new engine if it matches Mercedes power if not you can forget it, no amount of aero change will get them any closer they just need to match Mercedes top speed then it’s game on.

To me it looks like media corporations and FIA and Formula 1 officials have decided to boost Ferrari and Hamilton's names for world championships after they had been doing it with Red Bull and Max Verstappen for 4 years even by having resorted to rigging the race's rules to make Verstappen win a completely illegal 2021 world championship only to excite the audiences. The whole thing looks like it's strongly influenced by marketing and audience engagement goals of the sport's owners.
