Interesting discussion. I felt that many arguments were based on personal experiences rather than on the ideas of feminism and anti-feminism themselves. Experiences can explain why people hold certain views, but they don't necessarily define the whole ideology.For example, some women on the panel said that women should stay at home and take care of their children. That may work for them because they have a capable partner who can provide for the family, or because they genuinely enjoy that role. However, not every woman has that choice, and some women find purpose and fulfillment in their careers. I personally believe in balance and in respecting that different women may choose different paths depending on their circumstances and preferences.

Also, why does the anti-feminist side see things from a perspective oriented around men? The feminist side is speaking on economics, history, capitalism, psychology, social antropology and health including disabilities. And their perspective is more rounded, concerned for society, for women, LGBTQIA+ individuals and men.

Jesus created women knowing the things that they would come to do for the world and not once did the Bible ever say that women were made purely to reproduce. Good grief. @itaylor41And the Christian lady forgot that the "be fruitful and multiply" command wasn't given to women alone, but to both men and women. And so based on her very Christian beliefs, no career should give men as much satisfaction as raising kids either. The selective Christianese is just.... Being a Christian is relationship with The One Who gave the commandment, so that keeping it does not require scriptural gymnastics.

And then these anti feminist women sit in their homes living their happy lives and not even go as far as glancing at what horror is happening to the people in African and Asian countries. They don't even wanna see what's happening in Afghanistan, or Iran or Sudan. They have the privilege of being born into those countries. And the fucked up part is that even the feminists don't talk enough about these countries and women's rights because nowdays people are so scared of being called Islamophobic that they feel scared of calling out on a regime, just because the word Islam is attached to it.
