It's one of Barcelona's most popular tourist attractions. During normal times, nearly 100,000 people squeeze into the stadium to watch 22 players chase a ball on a grass field. We're talking about Camp Nou, FC Barcelona's hallowed soccer stadium, the largest of its kind in Europe. For the moment, fans can only dream of watching a game in a packed stadium, but during the 1982 World Cup, a crowd of 120,000 spectators sat in the arena. While there may be fewer in attendance today, it's still more than in any other stadium in Europe. It is a very impressive number and one that has drawn the attention of our reporter Hendrik Welling. For our series "Europe to the Maxx," he regularly visits places that are breaking records throughout Europe.

Officialy Nou Camp has a little bit less than 100 K visitors. In Leipzig was the Zentralstadium for 100 K visitors, but meanwhile broken.

@johnmateIt is another way to deceive people saying that you must support also the idea of the club not only the team. Sorry sport is an enjoyment , not a politics issue. when you give another meaning football, then it becomes another thing.
@tikeroferres7028I had been a Barcelona fan since the RomĂĄrio and Stoichkov days, I didnât mind the trophyless years, I didnât mind adding a sponsor on the shirt, I â almost â didnât mind the hideous way the club treated fans in Kuala Lumpur in 2013 (I was living there back then, was one of the thousands of fans who got âcheatedâ by Barcelona during their visit to the city), I didnât â particularly â mind a dozen other things(âŠ) the club did over the years, but the glass broke beyond repair â as far as Iâm concerned â on October 1st, 2017. Peaceful Catalans were brutally getting beaten by Spanish police, and the team still jumped onto the field at Camp Nou to face Las Palmas, âfearing repercussions in case of a no-showâ. I mumbled a disgusted âf*** youâ that day, and never felt like a Barcelona fan again. Itâs been some years now, but I still feel exactly as disgusted. To wrap this up, their âmĂ©s que un clubâ makes me smile, bitterly. More like âun club mĂ©sâ, just another club.
@dibaskgI'm not a fan of soccer, as Italian, also here we have some big stadium in the principals cities (Milan, Naples) but I can understand what could be the feeling to be theređ Happy for you and for your realized child dreamđđđđ
