Fact vs. Theory vs. Hypothesis vs. Law… EXPLAINED!

Science is ever changing and it's never done. like the covid vaccine that everyone said to trust the science. Well, it wasn't tested long enough but everyone bowed to the science gods and said we shouldn't question it and everyone should get it. We can see how that's turning out. I guess we were the experiment for the hypothesis. it's just we weren't given a choice.

What science hasn't yet been able to grasp is that each person's perception creates that person's reality. We want to explain our reality in fact, but each person creates their own unique version of what is fact. Literally, one person will see the sky as blue, another will see it as green. No one can say that one person's reality is less true than another. Both exist. Both are real. Perception creates reality.

El video estuvo muy interesante y entretenido. Los ejemplos que se presentan hacen mucho más fácil la comprensión de la hipótesis, mostrando que, aunque no sea algo comprobado pero si algo a comprobar. Me gustó cómo explicó que, cuando muchas hipótesis logran la verificación científica, estas se pueden acumular y, en conjunto, dan origen a una teoría. Esto nos demuestra cómo podemos saber que algo funciona basándonos en las evidencias que se ha podido recopilar .
Además, la forma en que relaciona los conceptos en el video es muy clara y fácil de seguir. La explicación sobre las leyes científicas también fue excelente: una ley es una descripción detallada de un fenómeno, generalmente utilizando matemáticas, pero la ley no nos dice por qué sucede. Por otro lado, la manera en que muestra cómo las hipótesis, teorías y leyes se integran para hacer que la ciencia funcione me pareció muy importante y sencilla de entender.
En general, el video fue muy bueno y la manera en que explica los conceptos es excelente, clara y entretenida. Los ejemplos y la forma de relacionar la información hacen que comprender la ciencia y su funcionamiento sea mucho más fácil

Seeing the clear distinction between fact, hypothesis, theory, and law made me realize the importance of using words accurately. I sincerely believe that people often use these terms interchangeably, which creates a lot of confusion, especially in important debates. Often, a hypothesis (a simple assumption) is presented as an irrefutable fact, or a theory (a well-founded explanation) is dismissed as if it were just an unfounded idea. This lack of linguistic rigor not only impoverishes conversation, but also weakens critical thinking.
For me, the real value of this knowledge lies not in memorizing definitions, but in applying them in everyday life. When talking with friends or at school, I now pay more attention to whether what I am saying is an objective observation (a fact), a possible explanation (a hypothesis), or a conclusion supported by evidence (a theory).
The biggest lesson from the video is that every word carries weight. Using the right word is not an act of pedantry, but a sign of respect for the truth and for the person you are talking to. It invites us to be more responsible with what we say and to do our research before talking

Me pareció súper útil y necesario, especialmente para nosotros que estamos incluso en la universidad y usamos estos términos todo el tiempo sin saber bien qué significan. Siento que este video me aclaró muchos pensamientos erróneos que tenía, y que probablemente mucha gente tiene, sobre cómo funciona realmente la ciencia.

​La parte que más me gusto o impacto personalmente fue la explicación sobre el término "teoría". En la vida diaria, usamos la palabra "teoría" como si fuera una idea sin muchos fundamentos, algo así como "tengo una teoría de por qué reprobé el examen". Pero el video explica que en la ciencia es todo lo contrario: una teoría es una explicación súper sólida y bien fundamentada que se apoya en muchos hechos reales e hipótesis probadas. El video lo pone como la "medalla de oro" de la ciencia, y eso me ayudó a entender por qué cosas como la Teoría de la Evolución o la Teoría del cambio Climático son tan importantes y no son simplemente opiniones de la gente.

Ya no podré decir "es solo una teoría" sin sentir que estoy ignorando todo el trabajo que hay detrás 😂.

​Además, me pareció muy clara la distinción entre una teoría y una ley. Antes pensaba que una ley era una teoría que se había probado tanto que se había vuelto una ley, pero el video me enseñó que no es así. Las leyes, como la ley de la gravedad de Newton, nos dicen qué pasa, nos describen el fenómeno. En cambio, las teorías, como la de la relatividad de Einstein, nos explican por qué pasa. Es un detallito, pero cambia por completo la forma en que entiendes los conceptos científicos. Ahora sé que una teoría y una ley cumplen funciones diferentes, y ambas son cruciales para la ciencia.

​En conclusión, este video me fue una herramienta esencial para cualquiera que quiera entender mejor la ciencia y usar los términos correctamente. Me ayudó a darme cuenta de que el lenguaje científico tiene su funcion precisa para evitar malentendidos. Lo recomendaría a todos mis compañeros porque nos da una base sólida para entender los temas de biología, física y química de una forma mucho más profunda. En verdad, me hizo pensar en lo importante que es ser sabios al hablar, especialmente cuando se trata de temas que vamos a tratar tanto.

The leading voices in the theory of macro-evolution, to this day, acknowledge that there is not substantial, observable evidence for speciation. Paleontologists are riddled with gaps in the fossil record where transitional species should appear, considering the billions of non-transitional structures found. OP is being intellectually dishonest to claim that evolution is scientific fact.

My Guy theory of evolution is not a fact it is a practicing theory that is not proven till to this day. Which makes the the bible too coz it makes more sense coz we were made in the image of God and not matter and energy
