I am one etf strategy

— @Iamkshatria

00:00 - Intro

00:30 - Is now a good time to invest?

Please can you tell us how much your masterclass costs to have an informed decision about buying it

— @SheldonEls

01:06 - Where should I keep my safety cushion?

01:23 - Can I ignore the news when investing?

What do you think about SpaceX being forced to the index? What is the best way to avoid it?

— @nykerno

01:47 - Should I use a different strategy to avoid losses?

02:14 - Portfolio at age 40, what would it look like?

Any opinions on ishare Nikkei 225, currently 80% of my portfolio is in vanguard ftse all world

— @tomoblasz2028

02:48 - Invest gradually or everything at once?

03:22 - Is investing in gold a good idea?

Why different brokerages?

— @fcc5923

04:22 - At what % loss should you sell and buy back later?

04:55 - What is the ideal number of ETFs to hold?

Hey Tom, maybe a idea for a video, I invest in the ETF Ishares core s&p500. Today it’s down 0.09% for now. The S&p index however is +0,39%.
Where is the difference coming from?

I really like your videos and content! Keep doing what you’re doing.

— @deltadrone4541

05:40 - What are the key metrics for evaluating an ETF?

06:36 - What is your opinion on Dividend Aristocrat ETFs?

Okay so, I know everyone is wanting to ask so I'll just go ahead and ask: WHICH ETFs, should most investors pick if going for broad diversification?

— @ShadyNetworker

07:36 - Could Tesla reduce the value of global ETFs?

08:18 - Should you adjust ETF weights?

Thank you. This answers all additional questions I had about investing.

— @pajiczoran

08:57 - Would you invest in ETFs at all-time highs?

09:43 - How diversified are global ETFs?

Keeping it to 1-3 low-cost ETFs and only checking the balance once a month is the peak boring (but highly effective) strategy we all need to embrace. Despite this awareness, I'm not very good at it, and I check my portfolio every day. Just out of curiosity, not to panic sell. I treat bear markets as opportunities, and I like to know my balance every day.

— @lazywalletofficial

10:33 - Why would the tech sector ever go down?

11:10 - Should you avoid overlapping ETFs?

Hi i am a 14 year old boy, trying to learn investing, i have been looking for etf's, but i use a scandinvian brocaradge which charges around, 2.5 of my stock or etf, beacuse i trade with low amounts of money, but should i switch brokarages?, if it helps, i am using Nordnet, as my brokarage.

— @thorsteinhaugenschjønsby

11:56 - Keep investing in the same or new ETFs?

12:42 - If an ETF rises quickly, should you take profit?

Hey tom, could you make a video about when to take profit from stocks, and funds/equity funds? I myself have money invested, but dont really know if i should hold for years or make a fund reset every year/half year where i take profit (and reinvest later) at what i belive will be the ATH for the fund that year.

— @thekebabman3583

13:16 - Do you invest in individual stocks?

13:37 - Retiring soon: where to invest and what’s a safe withdrawal rate?

I prefer to wait for a crash. Its not 1 thing we worry about, its 10 things now that might brake the economy any day now.

— @tvamanadsloner7220

14:33 - When should you diversify brokerages?

15:15 - How can I stay motivated with passive investing?

Is two ETFS enough
VUAG and IUKD. ?

Hey Tom, I wanted to thank you now for the little paid tips with the YouTube Thanks button, but unfortunately you don't have it. Maybe it's a good idea to enable that so we can appreciate those free tips directly here

Always watch out for scammers in the comments. Any recommendation of a specific financial advisor or expert is almost certainly a scam. Any profit claims that sound too good to be true are likely a scam. I will never ask you to message me privately. I will never recommend you use a specific investment platform or buy a particular investment.

I only offer educational courses via my website indexmasterclass.com (use the links above).

3 brokers if you have a couple of hundred grand? what should you do if you have 1 or 2 million then?

A great video that answers lots of questions. One thing I take away from it is the importance of having a plan and sticking to it. It makes your choices consistent and guides your decisions. But, should you try and evaluate your plan now and again? What if it's turning out to be not such a good plan... surely it's time to find a better plan. Having a plan helps stop you second guessing every little thing... but what stops you second guessing the plan?

so why do you have more then 1 broker? and from what point would it be smart to think about that aswel

What’s truly crazy is that “Rise Beyond Riches” is so underrated. It’s the one book that changed everything for me. Why isn’t anyone talking about it? It completely shifts your perspective.

I love your channel, but as an Irish investor EFT’s and index funds in our country are subject to a very cruel and unfair “deemed disposal” rule. It means that the Irish government assumes you sell your shares every 7 years and forces you to pay 38% tax on theirs gains, even if you never actually sold them. And the rate is higher than CGT tax if you bought and sold individual shares.

This makes EFT’s and index funds and much less attractive long terms investment in Ireland.

I'm on a 3 ETF strategy....an S&P500, EU Value and EM. This way I can control how much I want to be exposed to the different area's instead of bying one ACWI ETF. It's a little bit more expensive in fee's, but its very little...

When starting out, checking a portfolio every day can be useful. It teaches you that your ETF portfolio will fluctuate in value and that a few percent increase day to day is not something to celebrate just as a few percent decrease is nothing unusual. Or if you go for individual stocks, iu learn that volatility is much higher. And it happens for quite small values so you can get used to what is normal. It is also good to think about will this go up or down tomorrow as that teaches you that you are wrong as many times as you are right and you cannot predict short term behaviour based on what happened today and yesterday and if you invest today hoping to cash out tomorrow then you are essentially gambling. Even put $10 in microsoft or nvidia and cash it out the next day or a week later. Or track what your $10 investment is worth every day for a month. It gets all those things out of your system while your pot is small and you realise it is easier and far less time consuming and more reliable to have a simple plan and stick to it rather than spending a couple of hours every day trying to decide when to buy or sell.

@Martin-1066

I have a question, when do you sell your ETF?

@ericshang7744

You don't like dividends aristocrats ETFs, fair enough and I kinda agree; what about dividends growers as US ETFs like VIG or SCHD ?

what platform should I use if I plan to move around in Europe the next couple of years?
Currently I use a broker that only works for a few countries including my original home country.
This gives me conversion issues and also is annoying when I have to move around.

Dividends are simply profits, just like in growth companies, and there’s nothing wrong with collecting some returns along the way. In fact, many dividend-focused ETFs are much better than bonds! 2022 was proof of that. And selling ETF shares is not the same thing! These are companies with a different nature👌🏻 Amazing content👏🏻…

Dividends are great if reivested into a company that is growing cash flow

Very enlightening (and different....) video. I always recommend your videa first in the line when a friend asks of what I do with investing.
I have a small issue I would like you to help me with. If a have a lump sum to invest in an ETF through IBRK, can you give me some guidance in the details? What time, what kind of order, in lots or all at once,...etc? This type of details. Thanx in advance.
