This JCS inspired true crime documentary looks at a real life horror story of fatal attraction with a killer couple who are evil millionaires who think they can outsmart police and get away with murdering a friend on Boxing Day.

The real life murder mystery begins when police discover 32-year-old Russel shot to death inside his SUV on a remote road.
He still has money in his pocket and his vehicle is untouched, telling investigators they're not dealing with a robbery gone wrong.

As detectives working the shocking true crime story dig into Russel's life, they discover he had a troubled relationship with his ex-wife Brenna.
She's confirmed to have been out of town at the time of the murder; but, investigators discover that, in the days leading up to his death, Russel had gotten a number of calls from Brenna's close friend, former beauty queen Peggy.
