(Always remember to do research)
Basic understanding of how to use and how security tools like Sims, edrs, IDs, IPS, packet inspecting tools like wireshark
and network and computer scanning tools like Nessus, nmap & Etc. How do these work (Very basic, as in you did a module in
try hack me and you can explain like a five year old to people in job interviews)
Why is knowing them important you ask. Because if your security tool, your sim, your EDR identifies such activity as
scanning, then it's good to know what exactly that is.

Sublime is better than VS Code... yes that is true but I'm sticking with VS Code until I get bored.

@Nero_csI love the humor in this video haha. I am starting school for Cybersecurity & Information Assurance here soon. I am about to finish my degree BA in Business Information Systems. I also did 9 years in the Air Force and performed various roles mostly doing IT type of stuff, like unit Cybersecurity Liaison. I never got my certs so that's why I am starting school. It's been difficult getting a job. Do you help peeps with their resumes too?
@r6_chicYou're amazing man
@monsolympus7823Crowdstrike is super-effective against the user too.
@ErdrickHeroWhere are you searching for these entry level security positions? It may just be the job market rn but I live in a very large city, and indeed only has about 2 pages of job listings, mostly for engineers/senior/managers with even the level 1s asking for 3-5+ years of exp minimum or required! Are remote positions common or even harder to get since more applicants from all across the US? I may have to look into relocation but imposter syndrome scares me in case anything happens and I would be out of a job in a new city. Thanks, I am loving all the videos they are incredibly relatable and informative!
