It’s a cool video but why does anybody need to talk so fast, constantly, and on top of that editing removes pauses further.
Is it something that YouTuber cooks copy from tv shows, where cook talks rapidly due to time limitations? It’s makes it differ to focus

So I’ve watched this before, and the toad in a hole never stood out to me before, but it stands out now. Because my boss also works at Cracker Barrel and they call an egg in a basket. Well, she brought over to our place, which is an assisted living. And it has became so popular we have to have it once a week otherwise it’s like a riot. It was quite funny cause she put it on there. Nobody knew what she was talking about. We were like is it a legitimate little bit basket like what’s going on but then when she started explaining I was like oh totally in a hole so I’m re-watching this just coloring and that came up and I’m like oh my God it’s funny.

Here I am watching this because I need to speed run the eggs that I bought (didn't know they only last a few days at room temp, only few eggs fit in the fridge)

I'm a little mad about this, as a PhD Chemist and former Sous Chef, I think you are missing a process. Light your pan... put in your eggs and let them cook for 30s. Mess them up. You have yellow and white scrambled eggs.

The fact that he loves runny yolks so much tells me he doesn't deserve to exist and should have never been conceived, and since he is he should go to Angola Prison and dig up rocks just to bury them and dig them up again the next day, everyday for eternity.

Also, he probly likes tasting jizz.

@

oil a pan and place 2 corn tortillas. med heat. get them nice and toasty on both sides but not not too much and then crack an egg on to one of them. reduce the heat and put the second tortilla on top to seal the egg in. cook to desired doneness ( i flip it once or twice once the egg sets a bit) while trying to keep the yolk runny. plate and put sour cream and salt to taste. I had this 20 years ago in Costa Rica and it was delicious

Sous vide would be great for making a family brunch! All the eggs stay hot and ready without over cooking until plating, especially for a bunch of eggs Benedict!

The way you cooked menemen is actually how the Bulgarian Mish Mash is made. Menemen is different, so the recipe you presented is incorrect

@imarto90
@

Once made a dish that was (what we call eggs in a nest) toad in a hole, melted provolone over it at the end of cooking, followed by an over easy egg, then enough homemade Cole slaw to cover the bread, then some avacado slices, then a mound of BBQ pulled pork, drizzled with a bit more BBQ sauce and topped with a poached egg. Was immaculate.
