@RealSpeedRanksYorkshire Terriers are terriers. It is in the name! Also a dog bred for some objective can fit well in others. Great Danes for example are great companhionship dogs.

@yayacartiiI have an 11 year old (almost 12 year old) Jack Russell Terrier named Jack. Since he's a senior dog, he's a lot more intimidated by noises and sensitive than when he was younger. But overall, he's a very loyal dog that loves kids, and whenever I'm sick or sad, he's always there for me. I love him a lot and I hope he lives for at least 5 or more years ❤❤❤

@bigrudd9346I had a Jack Russell. Loved that dog . Incredibly smart and learned how to talk . Told me and my sister to shut up one day and told my father, no! . My mother couldn’t stand Charlie. She didn’t like dogs and she’d ignore him which he refused to accept. Every day she’d come into the house , refuse to acknowledge Charlie and he’d reach under her skirt and deliberately rip her stockings 😂. Every Single. Day!
@dancingnatureMost people I know should only have lazy dogs. No one i know regularly walks their dog except my sister's boyfriend. My in-laws have a high energy non-sporting dog and never walk him at all. When they went away for a few months, they left the dog to us and they said they would be gone indefinitely so I enrolled their dog in a dog training club and was going to do agility with him because he was such a smart hyperactive pup! I walked him twice a day and trained him. Some people just shouldn't own dogs.
His grandma kept two high energy terriers in a corner of her tiny kitchen and never walked them. My brother in law took one to the shelter and his grandma was so mad. Dogs are NOT ornaments.
