Why are they so reluctant to bring birds into the game?

Clearly we don't need birds, we need Hoofstock most people never even heard of. "Oh, like the Muntjac, who is in damn near every zoo, or the musk ox, who is in every zoo game?" Nah African Hoofstock only. "Oh, interesting ones like the Elan, Gerenuk, Hartebeest, or a Duiker?" Nah just generic medium large antelopes. You can have one (1) Klippspringer as appeasement.

Really hoping the final DLC will feature some more bird species - the secretary bird and shoebill are must-haves in my opinion.
