I’ve had several experiences seeing strange objects in the sky. A few weeks ago I woke up about 5 AM and was outside and saw what I thought was a satellite, but then I realized it was much bigger. It did a weird zigzag pattern, then All of a sudden it got super bright, and then completely disappeared.

Is it true that not all characters were translated by voice-over in the German version?
That would be strangely inconsistent and a problem for blind and visually impaired people.

This is an interesting show but somewhat concerning that people so readily believe what there is really no evidence for. Just believing something doesn’t make it real, that’s called self deception. I want to believe. Like they say “Keep an open mind but not so open that your brains fall out. “

No one really knows how long their lifespan is. It seems like they're trying to protect something that are sentimental to them. Somethings way before our time

At first, we're surprised by the fact that this documentary veers into near-proselytism. Coming from Netflix, that's quite surprising. But we soon understand that the subject addressed here, UFO testimonies, is in fact just a pretext to infiltrate religious beliefs and steer them toward a vaguely New Age vision closer to the house's ideology.
The most annoying thing, and this is now a constant at Netflix, is that woke ideas always appear in the middle of an argument like a fart in a spacesuit. It's becoming systematic whatever the subject, that's so irritating.
At one point, in the conclusion of the last episode, the documentary openly announces, through the mouth of one of the witnesses, the manipulative intent behind this biased treatment, saying that the subject of UFOs is a gateway to unbridled relativism, literally asserting that once you believe in the reality of the phenomenon, you're ready to believe anything, and that's the point!! In short, they're not pulling their weight anymore.


Otherwise, as for the treatment of the UFO theme itself, subjectivity is elevated here to the truth, with no critical perspective, a falsely naive complacency, and a ridiculously limited number of cases addressed to claim any rigor. But hey, given the documentary's intention, this is more than predictable.

One of the best UAP documentaries I have ever seen - THIS IS NOT ONE TO MISS.

So far not bad but I really can't stand that religious father who poisons his children with his teachings. His children are homeschooled. Huge religious guy probably voted for a rapist!

I finally got to watch Encounters, it was well done and compelling. I especially love the story with the school children in Zimbabwe and discussing their experiences as adults. I for one believe them.

How I hate all the time wasting flowery talk in these things. "Man is not the center of the universe" blah blah blah. A premise nobody still holds in the first place. If you put ten speakers in your doc, all ten are gonna have time wasting nonsense like this in their script, and in the end you didn't learn anything new, as usual if you know anything about the topic.

I'm not a UFO or ET sceptic, but I like to keep an open mind to the thought that maybe the craft which are seen in the sky, are top secret advanced aircraft that are flown remotely.. Also is it possible that the ETs that have been witnessed are actually 3D optical illusions being protected from these craft? I do subscribe to the theory of an artificial alien invasion on an international scale to bring humanity of all religions together.

Amazing series. I've seen so many documentaries and movies about UFOs. I even wrote a book about it, but this one was very special. Very objective and masterfully edited. 10/10 I hope they do more seasons.

Listen, if you need EVIDENCE that something unexplainable is out there?
Ask yourself WHY the goverment and or some undisclosed organization would even show up if this was all BS. The fact they are confiscating evidence, sending officers, making phone calls threatening people and most importantly sending figher pilots in 20million dollar jets out after a sighting IS your evidence. You think they are going to invest resources in covering up something that isn't real???

I'm just glad I wasn't alone when me and my neighbor witnessed a ufo in the sky in Staten Island new york back in 2011. I would've thought my mind & eyes was playing tricks on me. This thing was clear as day. Had me shook for weeks.

This was really good ! Either Aliens exist or not, the witnesses and the documentary was well researched and highly entertaining.

It makes me suspicious that there have never been any concrete and beyond any doubt photos of all that people claim they see in the sky. Today 95% of people hold a camera in their hands at all times. Where are the photos? I don't mean the faraway star-like lights in the sky, I mean the ones that people claim fly right over them. If there are as many sightings of UFO's in the world, where are the photos?
