I am making this for the first time, any suggestions on what to pair it with? I am thinking some white rice or mashed potatoes but since I've never had it, its hard to guess what to serve it with.

✅Ingredients
I would have rinsed that chicken after taking it out of the package first.
• 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
• ½ cup lemon juice
Not sure where I went wrong...the lemon seemed to take over everything and was too overbearing 😢
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 2 teaspoons lemon pepper
I don’t know ANYTHING about cooking. Did this and it tasted AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe! But I’m curious. Why don’t we drizzle the stuff in the bag after we marinate? (I’m just curious)
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
If you poke holes in the meat with a toothpick, it helps the marinade soak in.
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 large lemon thinly sliced
Great taste, thank you 🙌
• 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley (optional)
✅Instructions
Loved it!

If the chicken came out the bag why wouldn't it be ok to use the marinade ?
00:03:13 - Quick recap Lemon Herb Chicken Breast recipe
1️⃣ 00:00:44 - Place chicken breasts in a gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Pour in lemon juice, olive oil, lemon pepper, basil, oregano, and salt. Shake it a bit so that all the chicken gets covered.
It’s great just have to wash the chicken w vinegar n lemon or lime vs taking it straight out the pack first #uno
2️⃣ 00:01:24 - Let marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
I'm just imagining Gordon Ramsey using a bag to marinate chicken breasts
3️⃣ 00:01:30 - Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Nice Shoes!
4️⃣ 00:01:35 - Remove the chicken from the marinade and place in a 9×13 pan. Discard any remaining marinade. Place lemon slices on top.
What is a good side for this dish??? like with pasta or with ?
5️⃣ 00:01:57 - Cook chicken for 18-20 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. If you want to add a little color to your chicken breast, one they are done baking, switch the setting on your oven to broil. Allow the chicken to broil for 2 to 3 minutes until lightly browned.
This is one of those easy "bachelor" recipes that not only taste good but was easily done in my studio apartment. Today is the third time that I will enjoy this delectable treat!
6️⃣ 00:02:44 - Serve hot. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley (optional).
so yummy 🌞🤩🌞

@fabianm7346Is there a good substitute for the lemon pepper?
@anitagibbs1438Looking very white and bland.. doesn’t look very tasty
@ansibasi786why do I have to discard the extra marinade? And not drizzle it on top?
@Polina-lw2xwCan I use lime instead?
@halasortingthatThank you! I'm making this for my son and I this evening. It's in the oven now! Looking forward to it. Serving with mashed garlic potatoes and steamed broccoli/sugar snap peas.
@Perly53Perfect prep meal, I literally make these once a week and use them in salads, rice or over cauliflower mashed. Awesome quick simple and tasty. Thanks
@maryanneastor8403I am new to cooking and I will make this tonight. Thank you for this recipe.
@JoseSoto-mv6uxThis recipe is absolutely amazing! So delicious & easy to make!! I never really liked chicken because I was so bad at cooking it & seasoning it so this really helped me out. I will be making this again 100%!
@hayleywilliams1490Why is it bad to drizzle the remaining marinade on top? I’ve always done that but I didn’t know you weren’t suppose too
@LoveyLauryn29Any reason you don't use the marinade to coat the chicken before cooking? Everything I've read suggests it's fine as long as it's part of the actual cooking process (opposed to using it raw in a sauce you're serving). Thanks for the recipe! On my way to the store to get the ingredients ñ
@uhN0idYou smoked weed before this forsure 😂
@connord2845I’m making this right now !!! Let’s see how they turn out
@lanormisI like these videos cause it’s no nonsense. to the point , step by step instructions and easy.

@connord2845Wife material
@princeicioI made this recipe today 4/24 for the 1st time with some chicken breast that I bought from Sam's Club. Let me just say I have never baked chicken breast before and this meal was delicious. The chicken breast was really juicy. I baked it for 20 minutes at 450 degrees and the cooking time was just right. I cooked a side of white rice with mixed vegetables and my kids enjoyed it very much. When I say kids they are 12, 13 and 17. I will be making this again!! Thank you for sharing the recipe!!!
@melody796Can I fry the crust afterwards just for it to be extra crispy?
@anonymous9074450 degrees will set off my fire alarm in my apartment. Any alternatives?
@punkypappa1381What is lemon pepper
@ashrazterrian88512nd time making it. You are right about baking it at 450. First time I made it it was so tender the whole family loved it and how tender it was. This is certainly a keeper.
