— @steph8732

1 cup of heavy cream

chopped cilantro for garnish

I'm not Indian, but i bet it wouldn't taste as original butter chicken. 😊

— @nurilfahmi2957

rice

Directions:

I thought a dash of sugar was normal???

— @tomc2133

Marinate chicken breast in chili powder, turmeric, salt and pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Brown chicken in 2 Tbsp. of butter, remove and set aside.

To the point I like it

— @hobbyart364

Melt another 2 Tbsp. of butter over medium heat, add onions, garlic, garam masala, grated ginger, chili powder, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Cook until fragrant.

Add the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the water and cream, bring back to a simmer. Return the chicken and simmer covered for another 10 -15 minutes.

This was amazing you people are crazy for hating on it. Just make it

— @ViralMemeMix

Stir in the last 2 tbsp of butter and additional salt and pepper to taste.

Serve garnished with cilantro on top of rice. Enjoy!

The ingredients are correct but the proper order is first oil then whole spices, and after that onions and dont add grounded spices directly let onions be golden in colour after that add ginger garlic red chillies and tomatoes and shimmer for some time then grind it.

If an Indian person made an “Indianized” (as opposed to Americanized) cheeseburger, I would think it’s cool that they’re adding their culture’s twist. They may not say,” cheeseburger with an Indian twist,” but the background and culture of the cook may influence a dish. Just see it as a different type meant for a different audience.

Honestly I don't know understand why this gets a lot of hate. I see this as a simple meal to make, nothing to fancy. But if you want a gourmet version, than this is probably not for you. Hense why its called "easy"

I literally just made this recipe, and it does the job. Its obviously not as good as the restaurants but again it does the job. Solid 6 or 7/10

Watching from Australia 🇦🇺. Thanks for the recipe . Need clarification please regarding an ingredient ... is the tomato sauce as in Ketchup? Not tomato purée ? Just double checking . Thanks you

I like how white folks think they know how to cook Indian dishes. Black pepper, chili powder, cayenne powder, cinnamon stick and onion never go in a butter chicken dish.
