I watched a video that showed how to memorize the 50 states by Ms. Alexander. I have used her video every year to teach my students the states easily. The other words on this map are Landmarks I think are important for students to learn and write into the map. I also require the state capitals to be written in. I allow the states to be done as initials. The Capitals to be abbreviated. And the landmarks to be drawn in.

Much easier with the map. Just watched a clip on the show Friends where they were trying to name all 50. Nobody got it. I just tried. I missed Nebraska and Indiana but recognized them immediately when I saw your map.
