I ran away to Central America when I was 15. Alex Garland wrote a fictional book about my life.
When i lived on my private, secret beach. There were two things i wanted. A little sound system to mix dubs. & a few close friends to share it all with. That was 1995-1997 for me.
I moved away from paradise because i had knocked up my high school sweetheart. Chad and Thadous, were cousins visiting. They encouraged me to "Man Up" and i made that choice to come back and give it a go at being a husband and a father.
I am 45(?) or 46(?) now idk.. the children are grown and moved away. I still work everyday trying to finish this offgrid home that ive built in a week attempt at recreating a life i once knew. And i dream every day of going back to the tropics, but this time with my Hercules mixer, rechargable bluetooth speakers, and a little soalr set up.
What do you reading this think about that?
oh and.. btw to the dj, thank you so much for sharing your precious vinyl with us. Really means something to me. Helps me remember a time and place I once knew.
