In the past couple of weeks I’ve lost my best friend to suicide and my 20 year old niece to an unexpected illness, I’ve leant on these legendary Jane Goodall’s words in this interview, it’s driving me to be a better man and given me hope that I will see my favourite people again someday ❤️

Everything was okay until the part around 1:53 where she claims to " know" that there is life beyond death. She was not dead yet at the moment when she said it, that is the problem.

A still living human saying with 100% certainty, that there is life after death, is like taking an advice from a janitor about how to calculate a trip to Mars, by using gravity slingshot maneuver.

Just because a thought gives one joy, does not mean it is true.


Jane was a real decent lady who loved animals a lot. But she could still be misguided about the death part. Religion is always there, like a poisonous, mythical snake in the garden.

Saw her speak at a college about 30 years ago. She spoke about that poor chimpanzee whose mother died and he was so broken that he too passed away shortly after from the grief She spoke about this incident in the Netflix interview. That story always stuck with me and I guess it did with her too.

I have thought about ending my life nearly every day for the last year and half. Watching her episode gives me some fight to carry on. Thank you Jane Goodall. You were a blessed soul on this earth.

So our first loyalty needs to be to grandparent earth, both male and female. All life. Add to fhe healthy growth, and do as little waste and damage as possible please

It's cute that she thinks most of us are going to be bringing grandchildren into this horrible world

How can consciousness remain when consciousness disappears even from those already alive, when dementia strikes...

She was such a beautiful soul and I miss her. What she said about which people she would put in that rocket ship out of this world made me lol. She can be so funny without meaning to be funny but also dead on accurate too. We were given such a unique gift that is Jane Goodall and we truly lost a true icon and a true honest, strong, beautiful human being. I know you're enjoying it up there Jane. Thank you for everything you did on planet Earth and the legacy you left with us. We love you and miss you very much.
