What do you mean both sides being stubborn. This war is not outside your front door. It was triggered by the US/Isreal, under the same reasons of suspected WMD. Its only a change of words, has Iraq prospered? People are still as poor, not significantly better off but their oil was exploited. Why the US does not create war with N Korea ... reason no resource to exploit. Same war mongering reasons ... just different regimes.

Trump realised this was a war he couldn’t afford, despite his claim of an obliterated Iranian navy. Hence, TACO again.

UAE should remember that Beirut was international financial hub two decades ago, just like uae was two months back.
The reasons for decay and destruction of Beirut's economy are same, viz American bases, incitement of violence by CIA agents in the internal politics of Lebanon, corruption, siphoning of funds by politicians and empoverishment of lower strata of population, influx of Palestinian refugees due to displacement by israeli expansionary policy funded by pan Zionist forces.
If UAE continues same policies as Lebanon did for decades past, it should not expect different results.
UAE must remember Henry Kissinger's warning that friendship with USA is fatal. This happened with Pakistan as well. Same American interference, same results.
Hopefully, UAE will take a lesson from the past and adapt new policies for peaceful coexistence with its neighbors.
