2:13 are we seriously supporting this?? What “doctor” supports a severe mental health crisis? Quite disappointed in you for affiliating with this Dr. Mike… We should not be supporting children of any age making drastic, life altering decisions like this. That is no doctor…

In the medical school I went to, our lecturers and/or professors always encouraged us not to see each other as competition but to help each other by studying together, sharing information like past questions to solve together. They discouraged us from being selfish and hoarding information, because at the end of the day, we will all pass and become doctors (we don't do classes like 1st class, 2nd class, etc). When we passed, no one was going to ask us what our scores were, or whether we were the top student in our batch. What mattered was that we were going to be doctors. As a result, studying together and sharing information with each other was second nature to us, such that we even shared information with the batch behind us, and the batch ahead of us used to give us lecture notes, videos, past questions and e-textbooks as well.

The only thing my psychiatrist says during our appointments is “do you need any refills on your prescription?” He never asks how im doing and feeling, how my home life is going, etc. we do virtual appointments m, and hes always in a rush to get the appointment fone as soon as possible .

I believe in Alternative Medical Practices. Like Acupuncture. I use herbal supplements only. Black Seed Oil pills help prevent Alzheimers and Dementia. I don't have Medical insurance. I don't go to most hospitals. I went to a free clinic to get a abcess drained that was located on my left buttock.

I do not trust doctors who think they know everything and are certain they know what they're talking about. I've had a couple of doctors who had that attitude. I actually feel safer when a doctor says, "I don't know, but we will do the best we can, or we will find someone who may know the answer. We'll figure it out together."

1:55 bro said work life balance.
I wish.. how can you have work life balance when everyday, classes and postings start by 7:30 in the morning and end by 5 pm. And you have to study what you learned that same day or else your stuff will pile up.

Mine was a bedside attending. She taught me two major things I still teach:
“Learn how to say I don’t know with kindness and compassion”
“Errors are often caused by systems, not people.”

Oh , and from a senior resident, “ask your history with curiosity, not judgement”.

These are:
-Know that you don't know what you don'y know
-Treat the pacient
-Keep a life balance
-Choose the happy
-If you order different exams, use it
-Know where is the pattient
-Plastic surgerys like last thing
-Everyone have impostor syndrome
-You can do anything for a few weeks
-Differential diagnosis wich some doctors
-The true is the true
-Treat every pattient like a family member
-The failure is the right
-The eyes never can see what the mind doesn't know
-The time can make you can do anything
-The certainly is uncertainly
-Treat a patient with no only medicine

Hello, Dr. Mike! I doubt that you’ll ever see this but I would like to speak out.
I would like to thank you for making these types of videos. I am aiming to become a cardiologist and will soon enter college/university. At first, I doubt that I could become a doctor, and it had me thinking: “Am I good enough to become a doctor?” “Am I ready for medical school?” “Is being a doctor really my passion?”

I feared that I will fail, the responsibilities of a doctor, that I would never become one. I have come across people who didn’t believe that I would become a cardiologist because of its complexity. But your videos gave me hope.
I came across your videos a few years back and it sparked my interest! It made me think that this was a sign of possibility, for me to continue becoming a doctor. I started to research what pre-med course I should take, ask questions to doctors near my area, and even hospitals that I could work in after finishing my studies.

I became a better person, believe it or not. It really showed me that I want to become a doctor. To be patient, to become a leader. It showed me that being a doctor isn’t only a medical profession, but also something to be proud of.

I’m very sorry if I was too personal whilst writing this, but I just wanted to share this with you!

(And full-on thanks to all those specialists in the videos, it made me want to become a cardiologist even more!)
Your videos will definitely carry me throughout my student years, lol

Thank you!

Doctors who specialize in veterinary medicine, called veterinarians, work with a wide variety of animals, including pets, farm animals, zoo animals, and even exotic species. They provide care for these animals in various settings, from private practices to hospitals and research facilities.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Types of Veterinarians:

Companion Animal Veterinarians:

These vets specialize in the care of common pets like cats, dogs, and some pocket pets.

Food Animal Veterinarians:

These vets focus on the health and well-being of animals raised for food, like cattle, pigs, and poultry.

Food Safety and Inspection Veterinarians:

These vets ensure the safety of animal products for human consumption by inspecting and testing livestock and animal products.

Research Veterinarians:

These vets conduct research to improve animal health and disease prevention.

Zoo Veterinarians:

These vets care for a wide range of animals in zoos, from small mammals to large carnivores.

Veterinary Specialists:

Many veterinarians further specialize in specific areas, such as surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, or ophthalmology.

Thank you for this, med school is a difficult and stressful time, but knowing that qualified doctors have also experienced these struggles make me feel that I am capable of succeeding! 😊
