I am a theater major and I love acting so much and one of my professors told the class first day of freshman year that if there is something else you even have a little thought about wanting to do more than acting than you might want to consider changing my major and I thought really long and hard about it and discovered there is nothing I love even remotely enough that id want to do it for my career

Only 1-2% of people make it as actors. Do I still want to become an actress? Yes.

"It's a humiliating thing to want to do."

That statement really resonated with me. Unlike writing, directing, or composing, acting is truly humiliating to even desire. Simply expressing the desire invites ridicule. When I was in seventh grade, I mentioned wanting to be an actor, and the whole class laughed. Now, at 25, I want to take an acting class, and when I told my mom, she laughed. But what's so amusing about it? Wanting to express oneself and create a performance for the entertainment of others is a noble pursuit.

And, naturally, I aspire to achieve wealth and fame. While I'm at it, I wouldn't mind winning an Oscar and a Golden Globe as well. Thank you.

I don’t wanna be in Hollywood like the whole kardashian Hollywood it’s way too toxic for me but I wanna play cool and deep roles and to be able to explore them and their life, their views and perspectives and I’d love physical roles so I smh gotta end up in Hollywood but I want to be an architect to make money and build cool houses and again I want to be an actor for the passion and the fun of it but big projects take long to film wich leaves the question: when do I have time for both?

Someone should care enough to teach them how to hold a wine glass. The stem has a purpose. Where I live, we see them as vulgar and unsophisticated, uneducated as every dinner scene is a stab to the heart. Secondly, wine is never gulped down, the way American actors behave is like spraypainting the Mons Lisa or shredding Gregoire Boonzaier painting. Hollywood lacks culture.

When you think you have to be gorgeous.... correct yourself and remind yourself that you just have to be comfortable being yourself
