In this episode, I once again sit down with David Gilmour to talk about his prolific career as one of the most influential guitarists of all time. This time around we deep dive into all of Pink Floyd's seminal albums and break down David's process for writing songs and finding guitar tones that created the expressive soundscapes he's so well known for.
I was a sophomore in high school when Dark Side came out and I played it as loud as I could. My very Mexican dad asked me, "What the hell kind of music is that?" 😅

Your focus on Christianity aside, you points really hit home. The sitting in silence is one I try and exercise and am b coming OK at. I had discovered this principle from the French philosopher Blaise Pascal. I find that philosophy tell us more about the human experience and conditions. Religions all of them without an exception, are m and of control. What if relying on guidance and comes from a support divine entity, we relied on one another. There should be only one commandment and that is treat others the way you want to be treated. If we would really put the effort into this we’d be much better off. To be honest I think that religions are self-fulfilling prophesies. But that a whole other discussion and I’m sincerely not saying this to be provocative but rather to start a dialogue from a different point of view to see how close we can come to an understanding.
I thank you very much for your channel which I’ll be exploring more in the coming days. You come across as a reasonable, sensitive, mindful man with consideration for others.
